Nur 25% auf Deutsch! ### 4/5 — Praktisches Kompendium *2026-08-09* Grundregeln, ein kostenloser Roster, Möglichkeit mit seinem Kumpel die Schlacht gemeinsam zu Verfolgen und nach dem freigeschaltetem Codex, eine unverzichtbare Hilfe. Gerade für die Combat Patrols ein sehr nützliches Nachschlagewerk. Stellenweise ist es eine Mischung aus Deutsch und Englisch. Gerade bei dem regulären Codex, ist es vermehrt Englisch. Aber man kommt dennoch zurecht. Leider sind noch nicht alle aktuellen Combat Patrols vorhanden (z.B Tyraniden). Wenn das gepatcht wurde, gibt es 5 Sterne. ### 2/5 — GW spart mal wieder *2026-08-09* Die App ist per se nicht schlecht, seit dem Update auf die 11. Edition ist es aber nur noch peinlich… Supports können nicht zugeordnet werden, die Sprache kann nicht wieder auf Englisch zurück gestellt werden, aber die Übersetzung ist, zum einen nicht Vollständig, dh. man hat da jetzt ein Kauderwelsch aus Deutsch und Englisch stehen und zum anderen sind sie auch noch fehlerhaft GW ist ein milliardenschweres Unternehmen an der Börse und ist nicht fähig eine Funktionierende App auf einem Standart, wie man ihn 2026 als Stand der Technik erwarten kann, zu liefern… und dann soll man auch noch für die App zahlen um sie vollständig nutzen zu können, lächerlich! ### 2/5 — Dysfunctional *2026-08-05, version 2.4.0* Pay wall of $7 a month just to build more army rosters, limited free rules on characters unless you cough up $60 each for codex codes, app update currently makes it unusable for 11th edition. Guys the minis are already a mortgage payment does the app really have to be more of the same? ### 3/5 — WARNING!!! useless unless you bought the codex’s *2026-08-04, version 2.3.1* Just a warning, the app is useless unless you have the Codex already for the code to put the code in to unlock the information about your army, which I think is the biggest flaw of this app. I think if I’m paying $50 a year I should have access to the Codex’s. The only thing the app gives you for free is the basic rules that you can print off the Internet for free anyway I recommend if you don’t have the Codex there are other apps out there that are better. ### 4/5 — Beste App… für Geld *2026-08-03* Die App ist leider nur gut wenn man Geld ausgibt . Aber wenn man Codizies kauft kann man sich eine Liste machen, falls man Warhammer plus hat, ist dies die beste App die man haben kann. Leider ist dies an ein Abo gebunden . Deshalb nur 4 Sterne . ### 4/5 — Good app but with some problems *2026-07-30, version 2.3.1* I like it and I’ll use it but I don’t like the fact I have to buy Warhammer+ for some features but apart from that it’s really good. We already pay to get the codex and we already pay for every model that is new or updated that we want. New Recruit is free, Tabletop Battles is free, both of these apps are clean and easier to use with less clutter. But don’t expect much, it’s kinda useless. *2026-07-18, version 2.1.1* This App is very Buggy to begin with. It Logs you out every time you close the App. If you intend on purchasing the subscription, be ready for the App to sometimes just „lose“ it if you close the app. It’s also very dissappointing to learn that the App doesn’t work unless you literally own the physical 10e codex that you want to use. It’s an OK army builder but it’s really useless without the codex. ### 3/5 — Does not sync between devices *2026-07-18, version 2.1.1* It is a lovely app and has many good qualities, but I would like to be able to see a list that I plan on my iPhone pop up on my iPad. If I’m paying for your subscription I should have access to what you claim is on it. Very shady ### 4/5 — Wow! *2026-07-05* Since I started 40k (~4 years ago), I have always used 3rd party apps, but bought the codexes for the physical stats. I steered clear of this app for a while due to others saying that you only get 1 list for free. However I believe this is totally fair- and making and linking codexes to an account is incredibly easy. Other apps also stay out of date for *far* too long. This 40k app however, updates on day 1. The UI is slick and intuitive, and it is easy to find rules or FaQs in the search bar. As long as you scan in the codex, rules are fully up to date, and all the stratagems you can use in a given phone is shown at the bottom! An absolute game changer! A+++! Keep up the good work GW! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Junk *2026-08-06, version 2.4.0* Not a patch on Tabletop battles. Can’t enter default settings. Cant see my stats. Can’t go back and edit early pages in a battle. Will not link to BCP correctly for events (this appears to be a 3-way issue. The app relies upon a link to my Warhammer account. BCP says it has integrated with my Warhammer account but does not merge my events from a standard login in to the Warhammer version of my account. Ergo the 40K app says no events found and we go round an infuriating circle of inept software). ### 1/5 — Full of bugs *2026-08-03, version 2.3.1* Since the rules updates. Paywall making more than one list and paywalling basic rules on other armies is diabolical. It would be a perfect app if a subscription unlocked the app entirely but no. Updating my review to 1 star. 75$ a year to use this app is evil. ### 1/5 — Keeps freezing *2026-07-24, version 2.3.0* Apps freezes regularly on iPad, easily replicated. Been an issue for months and not resolved with the 11th edition updates. Combat Patrol is a great game which used to use simple printable sheets with all the information on. This app has ruined the Combat Patrol experience. The app herds you to pay for their subscription but even after subscribing the content is all still locked. Horrible experience. ### 1/5 — It’s a scam *2026-07-06, version 2.0.5* I just got started with 40K and the Armageddon box. Everything tells you to download this app, but it doesn’t even show you datasheets unless you buy a subscription AND the factions physical codex first. Oh yeah, they tell you for $60/year you can access the data sheets, but no, you need the subscription AND THEN you need to redeem a code for each $60 faction book on top of that. This is clearly designed from the ground up to be a scam.
