Point is that you can barely win if you don’t spend money on the game. Also once you pick a faction you’re stuck as that faction until you spend $20 on another pack which every pack is $20 and you won’t be able to make any cards just by playing because unless you spend money you’re stuck with low level cards. Ridiculous ### 2/5 — pay to win, power creep and gimmickry *2025-12-26, version 1.34.0* The game was fun up to a point but once you reach a certain level it’s all pay to win, power creep and otk gimmicks. Multiple broken factions and overlords, OP cards as a business model. 40 K is cool, the game is fine if you can keep with other people who are casuals but as soon as you get into the upper ranks it’s not really fun ### 2/5 — Customer service nonexistent *2025-12-17, version 1.33.2* I will say it’s a fun game, but if you have a problem, don’t bother trying to contact customer service. I will be first to admit I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed. But the game is not following its own rules I thought flying troops can’t get melee attacked or when my card can’t gets attacked it won’t give the slotted damage to the enemy card but there is no indication on the enemy card saying invulnerable. I don’t know maybe it’s just me. ### 1/5 — Draft is ruined *2025-11-19, version 1.33.2* If you played for draft matches it is ruined now and throws out every archetype for a single viable strategy. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect *2025-11-16, version 1.33.2* Problems connecting, can’t play anymore. ### 1/5 — New faction *2025-11-11, version 1.33.1* It is obviously a massive trend with this game that utterly ruins the entire game for 90% of the player base. The latest faction in this case is space wolves and just like previous factions such as emperors children or dark angels they are completely overtuned with completely broken abilities and stats. Then as always once they have been out for another month or so so that it has been long enough for people not paying absurd amounts of money to unlock the faction they will be nerfed into an actually fair and reasonable level. The big question is why can’t they just release them at this level to begin with? Oh right greed and money…………. It is honestly such a shame it used to be my favourite game but nowadays you can honestly only play it for about 3 maybe 4 months throughout the year. The other 8/9 months there is a newly released broken faction that you will be constantly matched up against and it is simply unfun. ### 2/5 — Connection issues. *2025-11-10, version 1.33.1* The game itself is very fun, skirmish and classic being two modes that are easy to differentiate. Making a gimmicky deck is fun, game does have some meta issues. However, issue comes in with the servers. I cannot go a game without getting disconnected and sent down a rank, and often can go several weeks with a failed connection error message. The friend system fails if one person tabs out of the game, and often some other random things break it. ### 3/5 — New Skirmish Draft *2025-11-09, version 1.33.1* On face value, I love the newest major update with the Space Wolves and permanent edition of the skirmish game mode. What ticks me off so horribly though is the change to the Draft game mode which now follows the rule set for skirmish. I think skirmish is well executed with a few major flaws but fun nonetheless, which was also how I felt about Draft before the update. Now that the two game modes have been combined it seems that the flaws have been amplified but the pluses are to be near nonexistent. I think the game could benefit if they made a draft classic and draft skirmish where you could only use your daily draft for one or the other. I loved draft because of my its ability to allow you to experiment with decks and cards that you either don’t own or don’t really know how to blend into your regular decks, but with it now following the skirmish rules there are clearly groups of cards that steamroll everything else and skill feels neglected with the quicker energy build up in combination to that. It’s not like this issue didn’t exist before but it was certainly a lot more manageable. I like skirmish but it feels like it’s just being shoved down our throats. However, there is one thing that is holding it back. Devs I am begging you go in a balancing spree SO BADLY. There are cards that can utterly destroy any hope of you playing your hand, and there is a ton of them. There are cards that not only can deal 2 damage to anything you play, BUT HAS STEALTH. Meaning if you want to play a cheap 3 health card and not have its health vaperized, you have to wait 3 WHOLE TURNS to kill the card that causes 2 damage when deployed. I just humbly hope you guys are going to go back and balance some things, because I’ve seen way to many op cards that make Resigning a better option, then just waiting to lose. ### 5/5 — Great game *2025-11-02, version 1.33.1* People always say on any pvp game that has in app purchases that it is pay to win.
