Whatever I do I get a spinning wheel and a message telling me that the server could not be reached and to try again. This happens on every WiFi connection I’ve tried so the problem isn’t on my side. ### 2/5 — A shell *2026-08-23, version 42.6* Two incredible card games cancelled, Warpforge, and legion cut out with stunning art whilst combat cards persists, it’s a card game but not in the same deck building highly addictive way as the others, the game is fine enough but it feels like it’s missing that spark of creative fun ### 4/5 — Great game but a bit buggy. *2026-08-14, version 42.6* I just want to preface this review with saying that I love this game, it’s fun, matches are short and there’s so much replayability with different warlords and how often we get events/ campaigns. I’m a massive 40k nerd and I love that the icons are painted miniatures, it’s a nice touch. It’s also very playable as F2P, though I don’t mind put the odd £5 on if I feel that it would speed things up, but this isn’t required. My only issue is the bugs, I’ve got used to closing and reopening the game every few matches but it can be annoying. Like I get it this is Games Workshops MO but, let’s be honest…Warpforge. Need I say more. It’s worth a google. ### 2/5 — Poor Connectivity, Regardless of WiFi *2026-08-04, version 42.6* I want to give this game a better rating, because I enjoy the core aspects of it. Receiving error messages every few actions, however, is keeping me from giving it a higher rating. I love the lore behind each card, and the variety. It has so much to it; it’s just falling short on the one aspect it needs. But having to force close every 30-60 seconds. Or when trying to redeem an earned reward is extremely frustrating. ### 4/5 — Lovely first impression *2026-07-23, version 42.4* Slow wait times on the progression packs timers (kinda refreshing to see the old design again, a lil frustrating when I’m trying to get a warlord so I can play my favourite faction, but the dev not being stingy with skip resource makes up for it) the gameplay design is amazing so far a lil worried about progression but factions are in dynamics feel great lots of potential feels very 40K. My options may change as time goes on but this is after 1 full day of doing almost nothing else (only used one time skip I had a break to let a reward open may be better to pace yourself for this game) hopefully it continues to feel this way and the progression worries fade ### 3/5 — Not Horus Heresy: Legions *2026-07-22, version 42.4* Wish you didn’t have to grind to level up cards and was more skill based—just like HH:L was. Damn I miss that game. When are yall gonna make this game irl! I can’t even open it anymore, I just get stuck on reconnecting ### 1/5 — Utter Garbage *2026-08-28, version 42.6* I’ve never encountered a more poorly coded application in my life. Constant crashing, constant connection issues, horrible UI, real-time PvP is INCREDIBLY poorly designed. Avoid this joke of a game like the plague. ### 1/5 — Pay to win and end game cheats *2026-08-25, version 42.6* the end game matches are unbalanced. You’ll win early matches while trying to score points for the point graph in order to get free cards. When you hit 2000 with any faction even if you have won every match it’ll match you with someone who will beat you. And it probably won’t be once. I’ve played this awhile and everytime I get close to the 2000 mark it’s a loss that drops you back down to 1940. Most likely a string of them. Statistically you should get at least one win out of a 15 plays but yes I have lost 15 Times in a row after like 60 wins in a row also statistically impossible. My only guess is it’s rigged matching. And you play against other peoples decks being played by Ai. Otherwise it would have a timer and currently you can leave a game on mid match without making a move and come back an hour later and continue. Real people would leave, Ai waits. On a positive note you know at some point you’ll have a end game build that won’t ever lose because of this same problem. But only if you can stand the cheaty matching and losing a lot before then. Fix and you’ll get at least 4 stars from me ### 1/5 — Cheap cash grab of a game *2026-07-14, version 42.4* This has to be THE worst warhammer mobile game I have ever played. It is a buggy mess where chest or rewards don’t load and need refreshing the app, cancel button on matches not working and cards you’ve earned not registering. For example I got Skulltaker and Inquisitor Greyfax cards from a chest and they have just not entered my roster. The match making in this game is also the worst I’ve seen in a while, first match I played against a high-level player with a Squiggoth and Wazdakka while I had the starting units. And don’t get me started on how P2W it is. You know a game is bad when the only redeeming quality is that it doesn’t have too many ads and because it has the name “Warhammer 40K”. All in all it’s such a cheap cash grab of a game. Amazing concept terrible execution. Do better. ### 1/5 — Hot garbage *2026-06-03, version 42.0* If you enjoy getting hosed continually by poor UI and terrible connectivity, have I got the game for you. I love Warhammer, but GW really needs to yank the license from these clowns. If the game isn’t dropping, it’s resetting your battle line ups, not allowing you to open rewards, or going into an endless loop of failing to load.
