Remove the rocking motion when there is an explosion! It's very off putting and detracts from the fun of the game. If not removed then at least allow it to be turned off! 2. Either make the core areas of explosion more defined so you can see whether another missile will explode in it or just lower the amount of 'dazzle' around each explosion? ### 5/5 — Way to Revive a Classic! *2012-08-13, version 2.2.2* Warheads is just one of those games that takes an old classic like Missile Command and give it a complete makeover with beautiful visuals and sound effects. ### 5/5 — 一度は… *2012-05-02* 往年の名作をうまくアレンジ緊迫感がありグラフィックサウンドも良く大変よくできています。トラックボールじゃなく左中右の砲台の射ち分けもできませんが敵の攻撃が激しくなってくるにつれその差は気にならなくなります。ただ…やり込みによる上達幅が狭いというか…WAVE２８〜辺りで常人はゲームオーバーになると思います。そういう意味では比較的早く飽きてしまうかも…でも間違いなくiPadで一度は遊んでみたいゲームでしょう。 ### 5/5 — Way to Bring it Back! *2012-01-15* There are few times when back in the day is revived, and it's actually just as good or better. This is one of those times! I remember being ADDICTED to this game as a kid, and now even more so. The music is perfect and the graphics put it over the top! I think the only thing that would make it more challenging is to add an option to choose a mode where all the sectors are being attacked, and you can choose the sector you want to protect at any given time. Imagine, firing off missiles in 4 different sectors... Of course, nukes coming sooner would be nice, they usually show up after incoming has blown up all your silos. WARNING: DO NOT GET THIS GAME UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO PLAY IT NONSTOP FOR AT LEAST A HALF HOUR!!! HAVE YOUR CHARGER HANDY AT ALL TIMES... ### 5/5 — これをやりたかった！ *2011-12-28* 30年前、ゲーセンで「ミサイルコマンド」というトラックボールを使ったゲームで、ハマって100円硬貨を注ぎ込みました。 あのゲームの興奮を家庭のゲーム機で…と思っていたのが叶いました。 昔から見てグラフィックも格段に良いし、値段もOK。DLして損は無いと思います。 ### 5/5 — I LOVE PANGEA GAMES!!!! *2011-11-11, version 2.2.2* That's all. The particle effects are cool at first but the game steadily goes downhill. Bad controls, half the time you tap and nothing happens. Very poor pixelated graphics, no variation, I'm not even going to waste any more time with the review. As a hard core missile command fan I was disappointed, I'm deleted this app from my iPod. ### 1/5 — Interface has problems *2010-05-10, version 0* Fun game, good idea. However, the interface has a problem and the touch/tap does not work properly. This is the only game with this issue, so it's not the phone. Have to tap several times to get a missile to launch. Rather than making me want to beat my score it makes me want to delete the game. Will keep playing for a bit to give it a fair shot though. I hope they update and improve the controls. ### 1/5 — Buggy with performance issues *2010-02-04* The game's concept of having four bases with enhanced graphics was grand, however it was poorly executed. Slower game performance would increasingly evident as you approach the higher levels, despite having "reduced effects" enabled even using the 3GS. Also, ammunition powerups would not always give more ammunition, despite being achieved. Lastly, not sure if this was intentional or not, but a missile would approach from the side to take out the side missile platform, which I believe all the missiles should be coming from the top of the screen and not the sides. Classic mode, ability to change the number of bases, and backgrounds would be nice. ### 1/5 — Crash! *2010-02-02, version 0* Haven't had a chance to even try yet due to it not opening. Writing this review Sorry Pangea - you usually make games I recommend but this one is way off, like you let your drunk uncle run the company for a week. ### 1/5 — Meh. Fancy graphics, game unplayable *2010-01-31* Guys, the 3d graphics are cool, but have you tried playing your game?? The controls (green "zone" indicator thing??) hide incoming missiles and provide no benefit whatsoever. The graphics are cool, but what's with the bobbing screen?? This isn't an FPS. It's just irritating. The explosions are worthy of a fireworks demo, but actually obscure the incoming missiles. So that's a fail, too. I just wish Wedidn’t run out of missles so soon. I don’t get to play most of the higher levels , I just have to sit and watch my bases get destroyed while I do nothing. Reloads are kind of few and far between. Usually I have full bases and no rounds to defend them. Would be fun to play those rounds instead. Yeah, I know, manage missles better .... I try. It goes from playable to non-playable so quickly that it seems kind of pre-ordained. Some of the missles that come out of the sides toward the end are, there is no defense fast enough to intercept them in< 1 second. Right around the 700,000 mark, you can expect cheap shots, which aren’t much fun. There’s a point at which the game tries to end itself. Another anamoly is the nukes, which are mostly non-factors in the game. The shockwave propagates FAR too slowly to be of any help. The incoming warheads simply come in at they same speed of the shockwave. It’s often the last item remaining Still, awesome game.
