You will get a text/email within 20mins to call them after sending your first transfer for verification purposes. After that, each transfer takes only 1-3 mins MAX to arrive! Drawbacks: 1. Your debit card won’t be saved on file unfortunately for the next transfer, so you need to input that again, and you can only send up to $200/transfer (100.000 FCFA), but with SIKACASH, you can send up to $2,999. 2. It has the LOWEST currency exchange rate compared to SIKACASH. There is a huge difference between sending $12 for the receiver to get ONLY 5.000 FCFA with WARICEL compared to sending $12 for the person to receive 7.000 FCFA with SIKACASH. 3. Finally, there is no refund with Waricel. If you sent it to the wrong person/phone number that’s it! But, with Sikacash, there is a refund especially if your money is not there in 24hrs!
