## What is Waridashi?

The trickiest math in knitting — working out your shaping — done in a moment.
Enter your gauge and finished measurements and Waridashi gives you the stitch and row counts. "Increase evenly from 60 to 72 stitches." "Decrease Y times across X rows at the sleeve." It works out the distribution and hands it back as a ready-to-knit instruction.

THREE CALCULATORS
• Gauge converter: swatch gauge + finished size → stitch & row counts
• Increase/decrease evenly: from N to M stitches in one row, e.g. "1 inc every 5 sts, 12 times"
• Sleeve / slope shaping: spread Y shaping events over X rows — with the actual row numbers

THE INSTRUCTION IS THE PRODUCT
Instead of a bare list of numbers you get a line you can copy straight into your notebook: "1 inc every 5 sts, 12 times (60 → 72)." Copy it with one tap, and the verification detail (plain-stitch runs and the actual row numbers) is always there to check by hand.

ABOUT THIS APP
Waridashi is a calculator for distributing stitches and rows. It is not a row counter — it specializes in shaping math. It does not specify increase/decrease techniques (M1L/M1R, ssk, and so on). It is designed for knitting with needles; crochet is not supported. Numbers are a guide — adjust to your fabric and taste.
