Unfortunately the app does not include every model. I hope at the time it is complete this will change. What more can I say ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Really confused as a new player *2026-07-26* As a new potential player I am very confused on how to use this app. It doesn’t feel intuitive in the slightest and some things seem broken. I would have expected something that is critical for playing the game to have a lot more care taken when developing it. I think the app is a carry over from the previous company. Software all up to date ### 1/5 — subscription? *2023-04-20* You need this app to play MK4 since they no longer print cards…..but they want you to pay monthly to have access to more then 6 lists….terrible! ### 1/5 — Still waiting… *2023-04-15* The over all look of the app is great but the only thing making me give a 1 star is the fact that they have not added all the miniatures in their catalog. I have played warmachines/hordes since the original release and have a massive collection of several of the factions. I have collected these for myself and sons who also love the game. We play all of the factions and need a complete card list so we can use any of our miniatures. I hope they correct this in the near future so we can again fully enjoy the game with this app. ### 1/5 — Aack! *2023-02-19* The older version was so much better. I am reticent to write this as they seem to ban all criticism of their products. I have had friends banned from the Facebook groups for any perceived slight against the design. The app is slow and incomplete. It is still a beta but it is slower than it should be at this stage. The design is bad and it hard to use. ### 1/5 — Highly unpolished. This app isn’t ready for public release *2022-12-14* Far too many bugs. 1. The App crashes often. 2. All the in-app links do not work. (it says that this will be fixed later but why are you putting out a highly unpolished app?) 3. Many of the presses for more detail do not respond well 4. Several copy and paste errors in the rules sections. This isn’t acceptable for an official rules source. 5. The customization of warjacks and warcaster is not intuitive. You have to first select the card exit that menu, go to another mode before the option is available. 6. Personal opinion, but the builder itself is ugly and takes way too many presses to get things done. It needs to be far more streamlined. 7. Card info details could be far better. For example, it’s great that they have the special rules in detailed and collapsable, but why aren’t the general icons the same? Why do I need to exit to another menu page to scroll through the ever growing lists if icons to find information? Just either list the general icon info in a collapsable menu on the cards like the special rules or allow a press to go straight to the icon definition. That’s 1 action vs 5 actions and a scroll/find to get info. Same with other general rules like unit movement or warjack options. If they want to make a rule helper tool, make the relevant rules available digitally on the card with easy access. Why are we still using archaic methods outdated years ago? Dynamically generate rule access on the fly to the database. The card feels like I am scrolling through a webpage made 20 years ago. Take a page from modern web/app design. 8. Also what’s with all these confirmation dialogs? This needs to be far more automated. This isn’t even a large app. Why is there a confirmation dialog to download 600mb of data? Was there any proper QA done on this app? It does not feel like that at all. Why are you publishing a crap alpha stage app on the app store? This needs to be way more tested before a public release. Intentions are good. The execution is embarrassing for an official app as the company’s face for a new game. ### 1/5 — Very Buggy *2022-11-07* I could write a pretty length usability and UX review of this app and how poor it is but it’s all been said in many other forums. Lack of native support is also huge and performance, even on a 14, is hot garbage. ### 2/5 — A bad experience gatekeeping a fun game. *2026-08-03* I’ve played the game since it was originally released and enjoy it. Using the app is a horrible experience. How am I supposed to play your game when there are constant issues. The game itself has very tight rules, amazing models and did I say FREE RULES! Models are probably slightly worse looking than Warhammer models but not worse in mk4. The game itself is amazing. If you love strategy games you won’t find anything better than this. ### 5/5 — Competent and useable *2023-10-01* After I figured out I had to hit the edit button to change a warjack loadout, and the start game button to track wounds, the app is really solid. A must use in every game, it works great to build lists, track things in game, rules reference etc. ### 5/5 — Major Improvement *2023-08-11* The app runs SOOOO much better than the old one. Took a little while to work out some of the bugs, but it’s super smooth now. The Rules of the game itself have improved as well now in Mk4, it feels much more fluid compared to mk3 or mk2. The biggest improvement is it’s much easier to grasp for newer players. Only complaint is the rollout speed of new armies.
