There are rules meant to limit direct interaction between alts, yet players can still indirectly funnel resources and gold through market systems and coordinated production chains. The end result is that some individuals or groups scale XP, crafting, and wealth at levels that normal players realistically cannot compete with. At some point it stops feeling like an MMO economy and starts feeling like competing against private industrial networks. The issue is less about any single player and more about a system that unintentionally rewards account scaling far more than actual gameplay balance. ### 3/5 — New update has broken the town. *2026-03-24, version 1.0.471* I will keep my original review below, as the game is great, but the new update has broken the lumberjack and Farm, as it crashes and I end up on the home screen again. No matter how much I try. Could this please be resolved. I will bring my rating up to 5 stars soon. This game has me obsessed. Love it, really fun to play. Needs a few tweaks here and there, but excellent. The tutorial is also useful in the beginning. You set up all of your processes in the Game handles them for you overtime. For example, exploring and crafting all happen in the background. It is really fun to log back onto the game and see your AFK rewards of experience and items you collect. You can specialize in different areas of crafting such as Alchemy, cooking, blacksmithing, tailoring, and so forth. I am very excited to see what I can achieve at higher levels. This is a fun game that you can check in on as often or as little as you want. However, the free version only lets you be off-line for eight hours. I haven’t figured out what happens if you were away from the game more than that. It does offer a monthly subscription service so you can invest in the game if you want or just enjoy playing the free version. Over the past two years, the game has become increasingly exploitative, with every essential feature locked behind massive paywalls. The developer has also completely turned a blind eye to player concerns—no bug fixes, no balance changes, and just complete silence on in-game issues. My name was censored for 2 years from a bug and the devs responds to me talking about it on the discord was perma banning me and when I spoke of leaving on in game global chat I was banned from it too, I have a few friends receiving the same treatment some just guilty by association ### 1/5 — Buggy and support is nonexistent *2026-01-21, version 1.0.467* I’ve been a paying player for over two years now and I’ve had the same issue this entire time, my username is censored for no reason and for over a year I’ve reached out to resolve it on THEIR support chat on discord without a single reply I’ve had glitches that also cost me money with the in game purchases and as I said support is completely nonexistent and I really think this company is taking advantage of it because they’ve never had to issue a refund since you can’t complain. Literally everything. Starter pack is $25 for some reason. Game is heavily balanced towards forced payments, including requiring premium currency to progress in early systems. However, the novelty quickly wears off, and the gameplay becomes repetitive and, frankly, boring after a while. The much-hyped pet system is a complete letdown. These companions do absolutely nothing in battle – no attacks, no buffs, just a costly drain on your gold. But the absolute worst aspect of this game is the constant stream of undocumented "ninja nerfs." Every day, it seems like subtle adjustments are made that negatively impact gameplay, and the developer offer absolutely zero communication about these changes. This was a frustrating issue in their previous game as well, and it's incredibly disappointing to see the same pattern repeated here. It creates a sense of distrust and makes it difficult to invest time and resources into the game when the rules seem to change arbitrarily without notice. Overall: While the initial experience might be pleasant, the lack of engaging long-term content, the useless and expensive pet system, and the infuriating practice of silent nerfs make this game difficult to recommend. More suggestions. *2026-06-27, version 1.0.499* I wish I had a way to communicate with a developer more. That’s my only complaint because I would suggest a few little things for quality of life, direct trading and gifting with players maybe a little bit of something for like recruiting game center friends into your clan or something kind of the way Swordy Quest does clans for your game sitter friends more than the wig guild work now because it is really hard for me to get guild members. I just find it a little bit difficult for me. That is a lot of my old members don’t stick around that is I don’t know just a few little things though but I love the game. It’s very fun. I find the premium benefits affordable and for the times that I can’t afford premium benefits. It is good for someone who is playing for free though. I wish crystals were headed out just a bit more crystals for different things occasionally and that the badges were a bit easier to get and some of the quest were a bit easier to complete like a bit more balance to mastery things like that and maybe a discord server for the Warshovel players, just my thoughts my two cents I give it for free and I want to thank you guys for making this game as successful as it is. It’s very accessible and I like that I could use voiceover to play it and I don’t have to fight with some self voicing thing to play the game. The devs have done an excellent job integrating city building, skill development, character development and has all the aspects of any other idle rpg.
