## What is Washi AR?

Linked to the physical publication 'Washi Futurism: Japanese Paper Craft & Local Material Culture', Washi AR is an experimental design exercise merging physical and digital content. Selected pages of the Washi Futurism publication can be scanned using the app to view immersive videos, dive into different types of Sekishu Washi paper and go on virtual walks to explore  the environment where this unique Japanese craft is situated.
