### 1/5 — Just DON'T

*2017-06-23, version 1.3*

This app is god awful. I love the idea of the Washington beer passport. The actual tangible passport will soon not be supported and you can only get stamps through this app. Problem is this app really stinks. Just try to get anything done. I paid and then you'll never shipped, and I absolutely will not do that again.

### 1/5 — Frustratingly slow, no content

*2017-05-11, version 1.0*

After waiting several minutes to 'upload' descriptions of a couple of beers, I got bored watching the pint glass full and empty with no results.

Tried again the next day, sick of waiting staring at my phone. Ridiculous that there is no existing content on beers...it's reasonable for users to fill up the database, but not when it takes forever and is just so slow.

Total fail. Going back to untapped. Very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Won’t even load properly

*2025-12-27, version 4.3.1*

Tried to use this app, even willing for a one year membership. Why? I will just do what I always do without this app.

### 1/5 — New version isn't working

*2019-08-04, version 3.2.0*

Please fix! The new update won't keep my profile information and none of the other tasks work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 4x tonight and each time it initially appears to work but when I open the app up, if no longer has my profile info, passport stamp history, and it won't look up nearby breweries. Please fix as I cannot continue to uninstall and reinstall the app in order to use it. It's a waste of time that would be better spent planning the next beer adventure. Thank you!

### 1/5 — App broken

*2019-08-03, version 3.2.0*

App is broken since latest update.

### 1/5 — Passport broken

*2019-08-03, version 3.2.0*

Since update, passport and mappings are not working-please get a fix in.

### 1/5 — Passport broken

*2019-06-29, version 3.1.0*

I can’t use the passport function, AGAIN.

### 1/5 — No good

*2018-04-20, version 2.4*

Hard to navigate, should be based more like yelp interactive rather than google maps oriented

### 1/5 — WTH? This app is an embarrassment!

*2017-10-07, version 1.5.2*

Very difficult to actually get a stamp. Links to map addresses are not correct. Sends you to the wrong location.

### 1/5 — Love the program, hate the app

*2017-10-07, version 1.5.2*

The app is super flaky, when it works it’s fun to get stamps from local breweries. But too often the app won’t let me search beers, or use my location at a brewery, etc. This service is really unreliable. I really enjoy the WABL program, but wish their app worked better.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2017-09-01, version 1.4*

Still can't log in after trying for several hours and multiple devices. Not quite fully baked. No place to go except better.

### 1/5 — Not quite working yet

*2017-07-15, version 1.4*

The app seemed to work okay when I first tried it, but now it just seems to say "Loading" forever on the "to go" and "my stamps" views. So I thought I would try logging out and back in, but I seem to remain logged in even after trying to log out.

I hope they get this working before killing the paper passports...

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Adventure perfect

*2020-01-26, version 3.2.1*

Every time I come home from an adventure in WA I log onto this app and find a great brewery to stop by and get a stamp.

### 5/5 — Good stuff

*2020-01-25, version 3.2.1*

Not for profit, just the love of beer.

### 5/5 — Works well

*2020-01-25, version 3.2.1*

Easier than keeping a paper passport

### 5/5 — Supports local beer!

*2019-12-08, version 3.2.1*

Great for fans of craft beer. I wouldn’t have found Odd Otter Brewing (my fav spot) without this app. Worth the download for sure.

### 5/5 — Nice app for Washington craft beer scene

*2018-05-21, version 2.5*

Loved the app. It has some great functionalities and looks amazing. This is a must-have for any craft beer lover in Washington.

### 5/5 — Nice App for Washington Beer Enthusiasts

*2017-05-15, version 1.0*

Great app for craft beer drinkers that want to support local brewers in Washington. The build your own tour is a nice addition for locals and visitors. I'm looking forward to trying out the festival feature next.

### 3/5 — Well…not working anymore, but great when it does

*2019-08-03, version 3.2.0*

Love the app, but since the last update, they only way I can get to my passport is to uninstall and reinstall the app. Pleas fix!

### 3/5 — Passport not working

*2018-06-24, version 2.6*

First time I tried to use the Passport function it could not find the brewery I was sitting in. Ok for finding breweries but not much other value.

### 3/5 — Having Serious Issues!

*2017-10-07, version 1.5.2*

The beer passport (the main function of this app) has been broken since yesterday. Please fix!!

### 2/5 — Know your function

*2018-01-12, version 1.8*

What’s the point of the app?

Finding breweries? Google maps is better at that - using Google I’ve found breweries that hadn’t yet signed up with WABL.

Finding beers? Untapped is better at that.

As far as I’m concerned, the main purpose of the app is the passport; to find passport locations and stamp the digital passport.

Let me be clear - the paper passport is an immensely better experience. A tangible item I can hold and keep. Something that requires me to actually interact with the brewery staff. Something that allows breweries to be creative with their brewery stamp. I thought of the paper passports as a type of art.

The digital passport should allow me to sort my passport stamps based on age and name. It’d be great if breweries could submit to WABL custom artwork as their digital passport stamp.

It’d be useful if breweries were supplied with WABL information posters or displays. At breweries, I regularly meet brewery loving Washington residents that have never heard of WABL.
