So sadly. I am cancelling my digital subscription via iTunes and continue to fume that Washingtonian has denied me access to my paid digital subscription for months. Totally unacceptable and abysmal Washingtonian customer service. Highly recommend that the Washingtonian eliminates their superfluous login/password requirement in the app as they provide zero options to change one’s (additional) password if forgotten in the app and zero access to their customer service. Until this issue is resolved, I highly caution all NOT to purchase/use the Washingtonian app via iTunes. ### 1/5 — Not working anymore *2021-02-03, version 6.0* I decided to see if the App had been fixed since the last time I tried to use it, same problem - starts to download an issue then freezes. This has been going on for months, it’s disgraceful they’re allowed to have it in the App Store. The App will no longer download current issues of the Washingtonian Magazine; I contacted support and they verified that it does not work with IOS 14. ### 1/5 — App unresponsive *2020-12-20, version 6.0* The app has been completely unresponsive. It freezes and I can’t read my content. ### 1/5 — Not Renewing Subscription *2020-11-04, version 6.0* My subscription is up for renewal this month and I won’t be renewing. The 2 most recent editions of the magazine will not download. Why pay for a subscription when I can’t access it? ### 2/5 — Disconnect *2020-11-04, version 6.0* I enjoy the content about my hometown folks, especially media folks. However, when there was a problem accessing my “digital” subscription help could not be found. “...sorry, you’ll have to call Apple!…” or “...oh, you’ll have to call the 877 number”. “…Do you know the account number...what is your name again, please spell it?” So, no real solutions except to task the subscriber, or potential one, to check here and there. I believe the quality content of your magazine requires a higher level of customer service. ### 1/5 — App now freezes every time I try to download an issue *2020-11-03, version 6.0* This app used to work, but it hasn’t worked for months now. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it, restarted my iPad, logged in and out of my Washingtonian account, and it always freezes right after I start downloading an issue. Haven’t been able to read the last two issues. Auto-renew now turned off. ### 1/5 — App is tedious *2020-10-30, version 6.0* The app has worked in the past but for the last few months I can’t access any issues.
