Can be a little grindy, at the beginning I hit a plateau where I found it difficult to progress. Since I was lazy i bought the $3 starter pack and it took me a long way. Spending money isn’t necessary for progression but I’ve spent around $13 total over 3 separate purchases and each purchase moved me forward significantly. Some systems in the game aren’t yet fully developed such as the clan system which hasn’t been implemented yet but I believe despite that the game is still a lot fun right now where it is. I’m really looking forward to future updates that add more features to expand the game. One concern I do have is that, at least for me, all the mercenaries in the recruitment section are the same character although I have seen other models for the same classes. Not sure if I’m just super unlucky but at this point I doubt it’s because of luck. Still, has no effect on actual gameplay, and is purely cosmetic. ### 4/5 — No pressure *2022-05-14* Absolutely love this game. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a game that doesn’t flood you with ads for other games. Makes me actually want to purchase items to help support the developers. Fun game so far with hardly any bugs. You can pay for in game items or grind away to build up your characters. We are constantly working on the game to make it better. ### 4/5 — Great concept *2022-04-08, version 23.0* I go through times where I need games that make you build up up things (leveling up your subordinates and the town) I have played a large number of games with the same base concept. But this is honestly one of the top games in that genre I have ever played. I love the art and how this is a game you can either sit there and play for hours or set up some missions and collect everything once you get back. I can’t wait to see the updates in the future, keep up the good work. ### 4/5 — Fun, unique gameplay. Needs some QOL polishing *2022-03-27* This game is so much fun. I love how you can independently toggle each character in your team between automatic and manual turns, and you can even customize their AI for automatic combat. The art is sharp and has love put into it, and the world is interesting. There are only a few things which I think would make the game better in its current state: 1. I find myself needing to wait 10+ hours to collect the scrap to upgrade some buildings one time. It would be nice to find more scrap-giving items in the wasteland or for upgrade prices/gather amounts to be rebalanced, as it’s seriously killing progression for me right now. 2. If possible, giving more options to watch ads for power cells or earn them for free. I’d gladly choose to watch more ads for power cells but right now it feels like I only get 3 or 4 ads a day. 3. The ability to sell extra items in storage. I have a bunch of zappo lighters sitting in storage and have no need for them. It would be nice to be able to free up storage and get a few coins from it too. 4. Being able to see descriptions of skills in the tactics editor so I don’t need to keep closing and reopening it. 5. There are some awkward sentences and typos in some of the text that break my immersion when I read them. Going through and fixing typos especially would help immersion and make everything easier to understand. **Developer response:** Thanks for your point by point feedback and ideas! I expected a standard turned based game with no real progression. Boy I was I wrong.. There is almost no hope for players to get better weapon unless you pay premium. The game only gives out limited premium currency by complete the main storyline quest and there isn’t that many of them. The shop sells the junk that you can collect but you can’t sell them. In fact you can’t sell anything! You can only dump them if you don’t need them or it is taking up too much warehouse space. You only earn money by battle or go on contract quest. For auto battle, pay $15 for only 30 days of auto battle. I played another game that for $20 you get the whole year. We are constantly working on the game to make it better ### 3/5 — Needs Improvements *2022-04-07* You can easily get stuck in this game and immediately have to grind spawns just to gain a little power for your team. The alternative is to wait for job post missions to complete which takes hours consuming your crew as well. I highly recommend having side quests spawn periodically that can give people better rewards and things to do in the open world. I bought the rare character and another rare with gold but still cannot get pass the boss battle in the first world. Then every time the crew is killed, I have no gold to heal them which turns into low level grind with my secondary team. Perhaps allow selling of goods to gain gold? It’s an interesting mix with the base building, exploration, and narrative parts. Advancement times are reasonable and there’s plenty to do even when waiting for scrap and such to replenish. It is not super intuitive though with some options being perplexing what it might do. (Typos and odd English in places doesn’t help.) The game needs way more portraits. All the character classes pretty much look the same which makes managing them confusing. I also wish there was a way to sell or recycle overflowing stock rather than just dumping it. But even without the needed polishing I keep returning to it so it’s doing something right. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback!
