Checked to see if something is turned off in setup but I don’t see anything that would not allow it to send the right signal. I have a hard time keeping it connected watch won’t update all the time have to resign in ever so often when it does connect everything is the same on my iPhone also Bluetooth disconnects quite often never did get Siri to work. ### 3/5 — Love the functionality BUT… *2024-09-12* When it’s installed on my watch and logged in, my watch battery doesn’t last a whole day. I believe this is due to a change in the Tesla API, but regardless until (if ever) it gets fixed, cannot recommend. ### 2/5 — Has many issues *2024-04-26* I purchased this app a while back and at that point it worked fine but as of 2024 I’m having issues because I have multiple Teslas and I can’t select the vehicle I want. it shows up with the first vehicle and I can see the second vehicle, but I can’t select the second vehicle, plus th me vehicle picture is wrong or non existent. I wish I could only select to see the one vehicle rather than seeing all. As of right now I can no longer use my second vehicle with the app because of lack of being able to select it without an image which in return makes this app useless to me. I have since removed it and no longer use it ### 2/5 — Has serious issues *2024-04-13* Whenever there is a tesla update the app seems to stop working for days/weeks. Currently right now the app works, but you can’t put it on a complication on the watch, making it pretty much pointless. Customer service is pretty much non existent because the developer is doing everything himself. Buy Tessie, that one has no issues. ### 3/5 — Worked fine until it didn’t *2024-03-19* This watch appear worked 80% of the time for the first 1.5 years. Now it doesn’t connect to my Tesla at all. Just stopped working one day. Decided to retire, I guess. I tried reconnecting, re-installing…app appears to be most up to date. The thing is that it never worked reliably enough that I could feel comfortable leaving my phone and keycard behind. So while it is an awesome idea and the number of functions it offers is truly impressive, and I really like the design visually, it has always been sort of a game and never a true tool that added functionality to my life. Still, props to the designer and I hope he can continue to work out the kinks. (PS anything more than $1/month subscription fee is asking too much. Our society is over-saturated with subscriptions and there is too much competition out there to charge more) ### 4/5 — Dec 2023 App Has Major Issues *2024-02-19* Update to review. I’m reading from 2 to 4 stars. It’s working again fairly consistently. Still some random login requests after you are already logged in. Original review: Spent the $20 for the full app, the key doesn’t work. I’ve reached out to tech support several weeks ago, no response. I have the Ultra first gen watch, it will unlock the car, sometimes, but more than once I’ve been standing at the car for over 5 minutes trying to get the app to unlock the car. Extremely frustrating standing at the side of the car and it won’t unlock. I had high hopes based on the reviews, but as of early December 2023, this as doesn’t work well enough to buy it. My car goes through the pairing process, but something isn’t work, as it never allows me to use my watch as the key to actually drive the vehicle. I’ve had the app open on my watch as I walk up to the car, it only unlocks if you hit the button on the watch, it doesn’t unlock like the app on the phone does, and certainly not automatically. The reason behind it is that Tesla is now is opening their API formally to developers. In the past developers had to reverse engineer the Tesla API. Going forward for the developers to use the new API, they will have to use the new official Tesla API and have to subscribe and pay for it, which makes sense as they sell their apps and make money from it. My suggestion would be that people that paid for the app like myself should be able to get at least the amount of features that we have already at this point without having to subscribe… making a subscription going forward for new users of the app… I know it seems easier for developer to just charge everybody so they can make more money but it’s not fair and I really hope that his developer does the right thing… ### 4/5 — Tesla key *2023-10-11* I am so pleased with this, sometimes it takes a while to actually open it, but it certainly makes my life easier! It says my car currently has 535km available. Well I’m sorry but my car only has a max of 450km so not sure where the extra comes from. ### 2/5 — App no longer recognizes car -will not pair *2023-08-11* Had app a few months now. Works, then doesn’t work with car updates etc. Recently app lost Bluetooth connection with watch. As a solution to get it to work, I uninstalled watch key from car with hope that I could reinstall and all would be fixed. Now app will not recognize car. Always says “vehicle not within range”. No option to add watch as a key, which is frustrating. Developer was great in past responding to concerns, now I have gotten no response for days. Was nice when it worked, but consistently does not work. I really hope there is a solution to get the app paired with car once again. Kim, if you are reading this, please help. I want to use your app. **Developer response:** So sorry for the long response times - app update is in review with apple, but is facing difficulties getting approved. Hasn’t worked now for a couple of months and no response from the developer. ### 1/5 — No customer service *2024-09-24* My app stopped working. Emailed the CS multiple times , no response. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work and no response from support. *2024-09-06* Only thing I need the app to do is enable apple watch key for the Tesla but it doesn’t work and there is no response from support to multiple requests for help or a refund of the purchase cost. The app needs a trial version to confirm it actually works first. Save your money. ### 1/5 — Gotten worse *2024-04-11* This used to be a great App with excellent tech support. Now everything had gone down hill. The commands sent by the watch is VERY UNRELIABLE. For example, I have the “open frunk” added to the face of the watch. When I tap on that, sometimes the app asks for confirmation. When I confirm to open, it does nothing. Well… it is fine if it did nothing. An hour later when I go out to the car, I see the frunk is open (once in pouring rain). Another time I issued the command to open the trunk using the watch app with the same results. It is scary. Someone could steal the contents if this app is opening the frunk/trunk randomly like this. I sent emails to Kim with no response. I prefer safety over convenience. Very slow to send commands when it did work. I have contacted support several times with no response at all. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything but still no positive result. Is there Fix coming? ### 1/5 — Massive Battery Drain *2023-09-07* I bought this app and installed it on my watch, Iphone, IPad and MacBookPro. Initially everything seemed to be fine. It worked as it should, although the process for reorganizing action icons is clunky and very slow to respond. But then, I noticed that the battery on my watch was draining very quickly - about 2 or 3 times the usual rate. The battery on my iPhone was also draining very fast - about 1.5 times the usual rate. The error logs in the app revealed that it was making multiple failed attempts to establish bluetooth connections, although it seemed to be working properly. I contacted the seller's tech support but have had no response after 3 days. ### 1/5 — Big disappointment *2023-07-15* App does not work anymore. Unfortunately, my watch is a series 2 vion and would not allow me to use the app. Asked for a refund and got onr right away. I’ve updated to the recent version and signed in again but can’t get past a roadblock where I need to assign a virtual key. I like the plugin reminder feature as well, except it happens before I can get out of the car. When I arrive home, I wait for the garage door to open, I pull into the garage and before I can put my car in park I get the plug I get the plugin reminder. I would prefer to get a reminder 5 minutes after I park if I forget to plugin. I’m debating whether or not to just turn it off. As it is now, it’s annoying. ### 5/5 — A little pricey but worth it *2023-10-04* This app is just as good if not better than the standard Tesla app. You can add widgets to your iPhone which makes it quicker to do simple tasks without opening the Tesla app. Saves time. And it keeps improving just like your Tesla with OTA updates. Tell Siri to open trunk, frunk, and many other commands from your wrist - very handy when shopping.
