### 5/5 — Great app for sailing

*2026-07-09*

I’ve used it a few times for sailing in some races and so far it works great. I think this app finds and holds GPS better than other ones I’ve used and I like the different map overlays via watch. There’s a few ideas I’ve had that I think would be helpful or good features that I will list at the end, but overall would definitely recommend for sailing boats. The screen is simple yet contains everything you need, with quick access to charts if you need to see where you are.

1- while sailing, showing the numerical bearing alongside or on top of the arrow. I am usually up on the foredeck and calling back the bearing to the skipper.
2- after the course is saved, show the average VMG of the whole course.
3- alongside 2, after completion, color coding the course line with the rolling average VMG so I can see where we were fast/slow
4- I noticed on my phone looking at the map of the course it didn’t show the waypoints I’ve saved. It would be nice to overlay those with the course we sailed.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback and ideas. The latest version now has a new screen that shows bearing to waypoint. I’ll look at implementing your other ideas.

### 5/5 — Great simple app

*2024-02-26*

This app is the most cost effective way to add a waypoint on a map, and then navigate to it. Simple and intuitive.

Thanks!

**Developer response:** Great to hear! Thanks
