## What is Watch Me Go?

Watch Me Go helps parents know where their kids are using the Apple Watch they already wear.

Watch Me Go is a family location service that combines an Apple Watch location app with a secure web-based Parent Dashboard. The Watch app reports location from the Apple Watch, while parents can use the secure web-based dashboard on their phone, tablet, or computer, regardless of platform.

IMPORTANT: GET STARTED ONLINE AT WATCHMEGO.APP

Before installing the Watch app, visit WatchMeGo.app on your phone, tablet, Mac, or PC browser to create your family account and set up Watch Me Go. The Apple Watch app is one part of the Watch Me Go service and must be paired with a family account.

No companion iPhone app is required. Parents can use the Watch Me Go Parent Dashboard from any modern web browser on virtually any device.

APPLE WATCH LOCATION REPORTING

Once paired, the Apple Watch can:

• Send periodic location reports to the family dashboard.
• Report available location accuracy, battery level, and connection information.
• Support Track Me sessions so parents can follow the Watch's reported route while the wearer is out.
• Show Tracking, Starting, or Needs Attention status directly on the Watch face with the Watch Me Go complication.
• Open Watch Me Go with a tap of the complication.
• Help the wearer know when Watch Me Go needs attention.

TOOLS FOR PARENTS

From the secure Parent Dashboard, parents can:

• View their child's latest reported Apple Watch location on a family map.
• Start a Track Me session to follow the Watch's reported route while the wearer is out.
• View breadcrumb trails showing the Watch's reported path.
• Use Track Back to review reported location history for a selected date and time range.
• Create saved places such as home, school, a friend's house, or a relative's home.
• Receive arrival and departure notifications for saved places.
• See battery level, connection status, location accuracy, and reporting time.
• Show a parent's own location on the family map when desired.
• Call the selected Apple Watch.

Some Parent Dashboard features require a Watch Me Go subscription.

BUILT WITH FAMILIES IN MIND

Watch Me Go supports families using cellular Apple Watches, including watches set up for younger family members.

Each Watch is connected to an authorized family account using a temporary pairing code. During setup, the parent or legal guardian identifies the Watch wearer's age group. Adult Watch wearers receive their own tracking controls, while Watches assigned to minors use protected tracking behavior designed to prevent the wearer from disabling family location reporting.

For younger Watch users, a parent or legal guardian completes the required parental verification and consent.

LOCATION INFORMATION YOU CAN UNDERSTAND

Watch Me Go provides more than a pin on a map. Parents can see when a location was measured, location accuracy, battery information, connection status, recent movement, and reported location history when available.

Saved places and arrival/departure alerts can help parents know when a child reaches or leaves familiar locations, while Track Me and Track Back provide additional information about the Watch's reported route.

PLEASE REMEMBER

Watch Me Go depends on the Apple Watch's location permissions, internet connection, battery level, GPS conditions, and watchOS background operation. Location reports, notifications, and route history may sometimes be delayed, less precise, or unavailable.

Watch Me Go is designed to provide helpful family location information. It is not an emergency service and should not be relied upon as a guarantee of continuous or real-time location monitoring.

### 5/5 — Great tracking app, especially if your spouse has Android

*2026-10-09*

My husband is still stuck on Android, and my young son has a cellular Apple Watch SE, and so do I. With Watch Me Go, we are both able to keep an eye on our some while he’s going to friends’ houses in the neighborhood, or riding his bike to school. I especially like the Track Back feature and the arrival / departure notifications.
