## What is Watch My Stocks?

Watch My Stocks - a color-coded Apple Watch display of daily gains/losses and values of your stocks and stock portfolios. Supports watch complications with 20 minute updates and iPhone Notifications with 30 minute updates. Use a proxy ETF to track intra-day gains/losses of mutual funds. NYSE, Nasdaq and many other US and foreign exchanges.

Quotes are real time (for NYSE and Nasdaq; other exchanges may be delayed) and provided FREE for the first month then available with a low cost, 6 month, non-renewing IAP subscription. If no subscription is purchased then quotes revert to Previous Close after the free one month trial period.

Watch My Stock downloads current stock quotes and displays the value and intra-day gain/loss of any number of shares of up to 40 stocks in a portfolio along with the total portfolio value and daily gain/loss. Store up to 8 different stock portfolios. Use a proxy stock or ETF to track the daily gain/loss for funds that do not trade during the day (e.g. use SPY to track FSMVX so you see today's gain not yesterday's loss). Each stock, and the total portfolio, can be displayed in a color shade corresponding to the percentage daily gain/loss from bright green through black to bright red.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and very effective

*2024-02-15*

Love this app. Use it many times a day when market is open. Perfect design.

### 4/5 — Total gain

*2024-01-27*

Was hoping I could enter my original stock price when purchased to track gain

### 4/5 — Nice Apple Watch complication

*2023-08-20*

Good little app. Better than just a list of stock prices. The portfolio function is what I got it for, which is great, but it would be nice if there were a “percentage of portfolio/asset allocation” option for constructing portfolios rather than just a “number of shares” option. I’m less concerned with my portfolio’s dollar value on a daily basis than I am with the portfolio’s performance overall for the day. And since I’m an index fund/lazy portfolio person, assigning percentages for various ETFs to construct the portfolio would be the bomb.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the positive comments. Regarding "percentage of..." have you tried the "Display: %T" segment at the top? If that does not do what you want, please use the "Contact Us" button too discuss.

### 4/5 — Nice Apple Watch complication

The portfolio function is what I got it for, which is great, but it would be nice if there were a “percentage of portfolio/asset allocation” option rather than just a “number of shares” option. I’m less concerned with my portfolio’s dollar value being shown to me than I am with it’s performance overall. ### 5/5 — Great integration with Apple Watch

*2023-07-28*

Just what I wanted, the only thing missing is to display the portfolio value within the complication. It would be great to just flip my wrist to see the portfolio value without having to push a button on the watch screen.

**Developer response:** Great idea - added in version 2.1.0

### 4/5 — Dan aumack
