I understand it all comes down to the $$$ but a man can dream. In 2025 they had mini replays of matches and press conferences that were great, 2026 no replays???? I’m still stoked I can watch live games and full replays. Maybe get Kayo to pump some money into this thing or partner with you. The score is shown after full time during the post match coverage, and there is no option to select ‘play from beginning’ or ‘play from live’. This leaves you guessing as to when the post match show is over so the score isn’t ruined. 2. The time slider at the bottom of the screen is tiny for smartphone users. This means the slightest movement can shift the match time overs 10s of minutes. Like others I did find the platform crashed several times during the game but I was just happy to be able to watch it. What I hadn’t realised is that they keep charging you $28 a week (auto renewal). On realising this I reached out to their customer service to ask if they would refund the additional weeks - after all you can’t even watch it in Australia and they would be able to see I used it once. However they keep insisting there’s nothing they can do - which is clearly incorrect, they could refund the money but they decide not to. I see a lot of our other negative comments and if you treat people like this your never going to be around for the long term. ### 1/5 — Download not working for months *2024-09-24, version 1.7.0* Terrible app for such a high price. Keep getting automated responses when complaining about no download of games. The last straw is that I’m unable to download any content to watch later on my phone, which is the biggest reason I use the app. It’s now at the point that I won’t subscribe for the 2025 season. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2024-08-25, version 1.7.0* Continual problems with this app and the downloading of matches. This year the app has given so many problems when trying to download games to watch later. Shockingly inadequate customer service aswell with the last five weeks being told their engineers are trying to fix the problem. 5 weeks!!!! If they can’t fix an app issue in five weeks they need new staff! Don’t waste your money paying for this app. ### 1/5 — Chromecast functionality didn’t work… *2024-08-23, version 1.7.0* In Hawaii and was looking forward to watching SJs last home game for the Warriors… even though Netflix, Disney and Prime Apps were all able to stream to my resort’s in room TV on the wifi, this app just didn’t want to play ball - $24 AUD to watch on an iPad - not good enough. First to go were the downloads which stopped functioning a week ago, today there is no longer any functioning component. Everything will work right up until the moment you attempt to start a stream after you have already paid. Only then will they tell you you’re geoblocked. Support will then be unresponsive. For one monthly price you can watch every match from every round of the Telstra match. Men’s- women’s- and State of Origin. You can watch matches for the past 3 years. Video and audio quality are great. Might be a bit high priced to some people but I love being able to pay a set price and can watch all matches from all round for the current and previous years. I wish other leagues had similar apps and prices. I frequently watch matches from previous years. I think they only way the NRL app could be better is if they had a library of all matches since it’s inception but I realize that’s all tall order. I love the app regardless of it only having a few years matches on offer. Great very video and audio quality.
