I’d love to eventually be in a position where I could make everything completely free. Right now, though, I develop the game in my free time while also working another job, and I personally cover the costs that come with developing and maintaining it. My ultimate goal is to be able to make this my full-time job and dedicate even more time to improving the game. With that in mind, I feel that $4.99 for the full version is a fair price, while still keeping the game accessible. I still might open up some of those features at a later date. For example, mods are now available for all through community-built mods. If you do not have the full version, you still can’t make mods, but you can find ones other community members made. As for ads, I have no plans to ever add them. From both player feedback and my own experience, I know how much ads can interrupt and take away from a game.
