왓치캣 (WatchCat)은 단순히 메시지를 암호화한 뒤 서버에 보관하는 기존 채팅앱과는 완전히 다른 철학으로 만들어진 1:1 비밀 채팅 전용 메신저입니다.
모든 메시지는 서버가 아닌 너와 나, 오직 대화 중인 두 사람의 기기 안에서만 화이트박스 암호화 기술로 안전하게 저장됩니다.
두 사람 중 누구라도 메시지를 삭제하고 싶다면 즉시 지울 수 있으며, 삭제된 내용은 어느 곳에도 남지 않고 완전히 사라집니다.

메시지를 주고받는 데이터 통신 구간에서는 양자내성암호(PQC)와 기존 암호 알고리즘을 결합한 하이브리드 E2E 암호화가 적용되어, 현존하는 기술 중 가장 높은 수준의 보안을 제공합니다.

노출되지 않기를 원하는 메시지는 양자내성암호 비밀 메시지로 설정하여 화면에서도 보이지 않습니다. 오직 대화 상대방만 암호화된 구간을 터치하여 확인할 수 있기에, 휴대폰을 훔쳐보는 사람이나 카메라 촬영 시도에서도 자유롭게 비밀 메시지를 보낼 수 있습니다. 또 화면 캡처나 외부 유출 위험이 감지되면 즉시 알려주며, 대화 화면의 캡처 자체도 원천 차단됩니다.

내가 보내는 사진도 완전히 암호화되어서 전송되며, 상대방은 사진을 캡쳐하거나 다운받을 수 없습니다. 주고받은 사진은 손가락으로 꾹 누른 상태에서만 확인이 가능하기 때문에, 누가 뒤에서 몰래 보거나 남이 보게될까봐 걱정할 필요가 없습니다.

상대가 사진을 암호화해서 보내면, 나만 그 사진을 꾹 눌러 확인할 수 있습니다. 사진은 캡처나 다운로드가 되지 않습니다.

● 둘 중에 누구라도 메시지 삭제 가능!
메시지는 서버에 남지 않으며, 대화 중인 두 사람 중 누구라도 쉽게 방삭제를 통해 메시지를 흔적없이 사라지게 할 수 있습니다.

● 아무런 흔적도 남지 않아!
모든 메시지는 3일 이내에 사라집니다. 설정에 따라 24시간 이내에 사라지게 할 수 있습니다.

● 누구도 해킹할 수 없어!
메시지는 모두 PQC(양자내성암호)로 종단간 암호화되어 있어, 양자컴퓨터를 사용해도 해킹할 수 없습니다.

● 몰래 메시지를 캡처한다고? 안되지!
화면캡처 자체가 원천적으로 차단되며, iOS의 경우 화면을 캡처하면 대화방에 알림으로 알려줍니다.

메세지 전송 실패가 생각보다 많고 암호화 메시지는 누르고 있어야 보이는데 손 때문에 보기 불편하네요… 한 번 누르면 보이고 다시 한 번 누르면 다시 암호화 되게 개선해 주셨으면 합니다
