I’ve enjoyed your app but a few things that have been in existence for over a year are putting me off and I’m considering canceling my subscription. **Developer response:** Hi! There’s a tutorial when you use the app for the first time what the Filters mean, but in short: Watching - shows that you have in progress (have started but not finished), All seen - finished all available episodes, Watchlist - TV shows that you haven’t started watching, but have Pinned. Then when I logged back in on Friday nothing loads up. It looks like your API server is down. The UI is good. Under the “watching” tab, it’s displaying shows that I’ve finished, and marked as “All Seen.” This makes it difficult to track shows I’m actually watching. Also, what is the “watch list” and how do I add shows to it? Other than these issues, I like the app. It’s really cool that it keeps a total of how many episodes you’ve watched, and how many hours that amounts to. **Developer response:** Hello! We are looking into it :) ### 4/5 — This app is great *2021-12-15, version 2.2.0* Now I can keep track of all my shows and I can see when the new episodes come out. ### 3/5 — Great app..needs updates *2021-10-06* First of all, I want to help the devs out by saying if you’re looking for a streaming app to watch shows and movies you’re in the wrong place. THIS APP IS DESIGNED TO TRACK SHOWS, NOT FOR WATCHING THEM!! I feel so bad reading the negative reviews because as an online seller myself, I know how it feels when people mess up your hard work just because they didn’t read your product description (they do it all the time!), so thought I’d say something to help out. This is an overall great app and absolutely beautiful to look at. My reason for three stars is because functionality needs some updating. When check marking seasons or episodes I’ve watched, I constantly am met with the “some wires got messed up” error and my check marks disappear. For an app that is supposed to help me remember where I left off on a particular show, this is very unhelpful. I have to keep rechecking each season/episode or I go back later and realize the app had unchecked several items I previously checked. Very frustrating. I find the timeline to be very confusing to use and honestly not useful the way it is set up. I feel bad saying that because I know someone worked very hard on it. I’d just like to see what shows are on today and what shows are coming up later in the week/month. I don’t need to see every episode or season listed. For example, I only need to see “Riverdale S6 E7 - Monday @ 8PM” I don’t need to see any other episodes behind it or know what came on tv three days ago. It’s just too much information. If The Simpsons aired 3 days ago, I can view that info in my watched list and see I missed it or watched it already and that’s plenty. I also really dislike that when you open the app it opens on the timeline I feel like most people, myself included, just want to see their watch list and would prefer it open to that page. I also had issues with the “send us feedback” link, which is the only way to contact support in the app. When tapping this, it tells you that it requires the iOS mail app to be installed on your phone. Not everyone uses the native app, it is completely deleted off my phone as I use a different mail app. So if you’re like me and don’t have the native iOS mail app or don’t use it, you have no way to contact support. It would be really helpful to have at least an additional line of text with support’s email address so those of us using a different mail app can manually set up and send an email to support or provide feedback. Overall this is a really beautiful app and very smooth when scrolling and moving around from page to page. It just needs a few updates to make it perfect. Until then, I’ll probably stick with my old tracker app but look forward to seeing this one improve! Thank you and best of luck to the developers!! **Developer response:** Hi! Thank you! *2022-03-12* I recommended if there was a way to find recent searches or something since I was watching some old things and have loads of shows in my timeline that I am either watching, haven’t finished watching but started ages ago, or want to watch and haven’t started… And now we have the recents tab in library! That does what I needed! A quick way to pull up what I’ve been recently watching to check off episodes without having to search in the search bar or scroll for 70+ rows in the timeline to mark off. Thank you for listening! 🥳 (The only adjustment to this update I’d recommend is if when tapping on the recents tab. Nice interface, easy to use, it just does a good job at what it needs to do. If I can offer 2 suggestions - “The” should be ignored when alphabetising shows.
