### 5/5 — Happy 😜

*2020-11-24*

Great little app. Sorts all my watches out nicely. Little pricey but...! Message to creator - please add an extra pic so we can picture the lume as well. Thanks

**Developer response:** Hey DJK,

Thank you for choosing Watchee, I'm really happy to hear that you like it. Also thanks for the suggestion which is actually something under consideration. I hope you will like the future updates as well.

Addition 10th Jan 2024.
We have just released the "WatcheePro for iPad" version of the app that is a fully independent version of the app especially tailored for iPad users to better utilise the bigger screens and capabilities of iPad. Also the iPad version will have more features since the iPad devices enable more things to be shown on the screen etc. If you have an iPad, perhaps consider checking it out.

Cheers,

### 5/5 — More Info

*2020-07-10*

I love this app and I use it every day to log the watch I’m wearing. Without this app I never would have discovered that my 2 most worn watches are my Bulova Moonwatch (the black one), and a vintage Seiko 5.

I also have another suggestion for the app that I think users might enjoy. The app keeps track of how often you wear each watch, but I assume it also logs the days that each watch is worn. It would be cool to be able to select a certain date range to see your wear rate per watch during that time period. For example if you’re curious what your most worn watch of the summer was.

One more, one more. If we could do the same as the above, but by day(s) of the week. So I could, for example, choose Saturday and Sunday, and then see my wear rate for only Saturdays and Sundays, to know what my most worn weekend watch it.

Keep up the great work guys. Thanks to this app I finally have my watches organized with all their relevant info.

Update: ok another idea. This is another stupid but fun one, if easy to do. It would be cool if for each watch there was a single page snapshot for it. A 1 page layout that included an image and all relevant info all on one concise page. Just the important stuff. And if you want to make it fun, you can make it look like a basketball card or something.

**Developer response:** Hi BarneySakhai,

First, let me thank you for choosing the Watchee app. I'm delighted to hear that you like it.
Next, about your suggestion, I think it's just wonderful! I really like the idea of showing the "cost per wear", it sure can be a valuable thing for many users of the app to be able to discover. This one will definitely go to the top of development list for Watchee,

Many thanks for the great suggestion, which will definitely make the app just that much better when the feature is implemented.

I wish you a very happy 2020!

Edit. Jan 19th. Your suggestion for the "cost per wear -functionality" a little over a week ago is now available with the v1.7.3 update of the app. Again, many thanks for this great suggestion, I find myself liking it a lot!

Edit. Jun 15th. Thank you again for a wonderful suggestion. The specific date range for the wear rate is unfortunately not easy to do with the current implementation. If there will ever be a "Watchee Pro", this would definitely need to be there! Many thanks for the great suggestion though and I hope you still enjoy using Watchee.

Cheers,
Anssi

Edit. Jul. 11th.
What a wonderful idea, I really like it. Right now there are some other things under the development queue for Watchee, but I will certainly add this to my todo-list! Love the idea.
Thank you so much once again and have a great summertime!

### 5/5 — This app is a must for watch collectors

*2020-06-08*

My current collection is over 150 watches and almost every other day some new come in and some old leave, this app is a huge help to keep track of my watches

**Developer response:** Thank you for choosing Watchee and reviewing it.

I'm very happy to hear that you seem to find the app useful for watch collection management. There are some new things already planned for the app so hopefully you will like the future updates as well.

### 5/5 — Great app for cataloging your watches

*2020-05-27*

Great app for cataloging your watches. Enables you to make very detailed entries. Also comes with some handy tools, the accuracy checker for example. This enables you to track the accuracy of your watches over any time period. Very accurate if used properly. Overall, the app is worth paying for. I have no complaints. :)

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review and for choosing Watchee :)

The goal is to continuously update the app to be even better and more comprehensive. I hope you will like the future updates as well.

### 5/5 — Watch Collectors Dream

*2020-04-10*

I’ve searched a long time for an app like this. Then i saw a Facebookpost in the UGWC Group. Unfortunately i had an Androiddevice at this time. Now that i flipped over to Apple and bought it immediatly. Now all my watches are nicely organised. Thank you!

**Developer response:** Hi FelixZingst,

As a developer I'm delighted to hear that Watchee met your expectations and you seem to like it! As a lifetime watch enthusiast myself it's my goal to further develop the app and listen to the ideas from different watch communities to make it even better and more and more comprehensive over time. I hope you will like the future app updates as well.

Cheers and thank you for choosing Watchee,

### 5/5 — Best watch collection app on the market

*2020-01-19*

Hands down the best watch collection app on the market. Many features and details. Regularly updated. Great developer. Those who complain about entering their watch details don’t understand that a complete watch database with every brand and model is not going to happen. Just enter watches as you wear them over time and it’s done! Great app!

**Developer response:** Thank you for choosing Watchee and taking the time to review it. I'm really happy to hear that you enjoy using the app. With the help and suggestions from fellow watch enthusiasts the app is getting more comprehensive over time, stay tuned for future updates!

### 5/5 — Nice app

### 5/5 — Great app.

*2019-11-25, version 1.6.5*

This app is getting better and better, although I can’t wait for it to get the ability to sync between devices.

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2019-11-21, version 1.6.4*

This is a great little app for any watch collector and enthusiasts. Great features and the developer keeps updating it. The only thing missing is the ability to transfer all your data to a new device. Once I upgrade my phone I fear I will have to start again.

### 5/5 — Love the app. Need help

*2019-10-14*

I lost all my data when changing phones. Anyway to recover ?

**Developer response:** Hi!

The easiest way to restore data is, If you have a backup of your old iPhone (together with apps and their data) on iCloud. Then you can setup your new iPhone based on that backup and thus restore the App's data (including Watchee's watch collection).

If you don't have a backup, but still have access to the old iPhone, you could probably still take a full backup of the old iPhone to iCloud and then use that backup to restore your apps and their data to the new iPhone.

Hope this helps and glad to hear you like the app for the worth of five stars.

### 5/5 — Great small app

*2019-10-07*

Done by a watch enthusiast for watch enthusiasts. Moreover, the developer keeps adding more and more features taking into accounts (reasonably fast) valuable inputs from users. A must have for any serious collector. Good job!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review. Very pleased to hear that you like the App.The goal is to further enhance the app to suit the needs of watch enthusiasts and collectors. Hopefully you will like the further updates as well!

### 5/5 — Really nice for multiple watch owners

*2019-09-07*

At first I thought it was kind of gimmicky to open this app and press “worn today” every time I put on a watch but have grown to really appreciate it. For instance, I can see that since February I’ve worn my Oris 125 times which is more than my work chronograph at 88. Guess I love my Oris lol. It is VERY handy though if I decide I might want a new strap for a certain watch but can’t remember what lug size, or how long the power reserve is supposed to be, or even when I bought it or when the warranty expires. It’s all right there. It’s also nice when you meet a fellow watch collector you can just open it up and there are all your watches, brochures, stats etc. They’ve been amazing with frequent updates that add more and more great features.

**Developer response:** Hi Melodicly,
Thank you for the time taken for a review!
Delighted to hear that you like Watchee and find it useful. Watchee is often updated and hopefully you will like the things that are planned for future updates as well 😊

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Wish I could get my money back

*2019-11-01*

Accuracy measurement tracker is way off.
My recently purchased Oyster Perpetual that keeps better than 0.5 secs per day is reported as being -26 according to this Watchee app.
Rubbish. Wish I could get my money back as this app is awful.

**Developer response:** Hi Vanilla Coffee,

Could I please kindly ask you to review the below steps for a successful accuracy measurement:

1. Make sure your mechanical watch’s time is set correctly. Also very importantly the second hand of your mechanical watch should match the hour hand when the ongoing minute changes (otherwise if at test start-time your second hand is not correctly synced with the minute hand, it’s very hard to tell at the end of the test what is the current minute your mechanical watch is on. Hackable movements make this very easy, otherwise it can be a bit tricky).

2. Tap the “START” -button of the Watchee App when the second hand of your mechanical watch reaches precisely twelve o’clock. Test can be started at any minute, for example at 14:45.

3. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the time on Watchee measurement display to match the time of your mechanical watch at the moment of starting the test. This is very important step!

4. Let the test run preferably at least 12 hours (you can check intermediate result earlier if you so wish and continue the measurement).

5. To end the test, tap the “END” -button of the Watchee App when the second hand of your mechanical watch reaches precisely twelve o’clock. Test can be ended at any minute, for example at 07:20.

6. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the time on Watchee measurement display to match the time of your mechanical watch at the moment of stopping the test. This is very important step!

7. After confirming the end-time, Watchee will show the result and you have the option of finishing the measurement and storing the result, or continuing the test for a longer period. For best results it’s recommended to test the watch close to a 24 hour period.

PS. It can also be useful (for each measurement) to choose the selection on the App "During measurement watch was: On wrist, In box, On winder...and so on". Many mechanical watches can give different results depending on which "position/use scenario" they were measured on. Hope this helps!

### 1/5 — Waste of money.

*2019-01-09*

Who has time to type out this much info about there collection per watch?

I assumed I could look up watch watch by model number and upload the data.

I don’t have time to look up the power reserve for each of my watches? That’s what I wanted to pay these guys for?

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear that the App has not met your expectations. Watchee is designed as an App that allows watch-enthusiasts to manually enter key information regarding their watches into the App. The App is extensive regarding different things that can be stored for each watch, but not every bit of information needs to be filled, if the user of the App so decides.

This being said Watchee is designed such that majority of the fields can be entered using predefined values in order to minimize the need to actually write any information.

Also Watchee is designed to be private to the user, so no connections to any external databases or such are made, but data is stored locally in user’s device. User can though share some info i.e. via email if they so wish.

Hope this helps 😊

### 2/5 — More cumbersome than it needs to be

*2022-10-15*

This app is designed so that you have to interact with it daily in order to get accurate statistics. For example, every day you have to open the app, scroll to the watch you are wearing that day and then click that you are wearing it today.

This app would make more sense if you could see a calendar and tell it that you wore the watch form the last 3, 7, 10, etc. days straight. This app requires too much daily management for simple watch wearing statistics.

Lastly, if you miss your daily app useage of telling it what watch you wore good luck going back and entering that day for your wear statistics. I still can’t figure out how to do that or if it even possible.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback.

If you forget to mark a particular watch as being used i.e. on a vacation, you can simply go to watch details, tap the "reset/adjust wear-stats" and i.e. increase the count by 7 for a full week. Simple as that, hope this helps.

### 2/5 — Incomplete

*2019-12-02*

You need to write everything about the watch... there should be all the info and you just pick your brand and model instead and that should fill all the other specs

### 4/5 — Fantastic. I just wish…

*2024-07-07*

…there was a way to create an account (or similar) and share data between devices.
I kept track of my watches and wear rate religiously on my old phone. Then when I had to switch to a new one, I lost it all (and so didn’t reinstall the app as I couldn’t face loading all the data again).

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review!

For Watchee, when you switch to a new device, the whole collection gets copied to the new device if you set up the new device from an iCloud backup (it will restore all the apps and their data, Watchee collection along with it).

Another option (for WatcheePro only) is to do an import of watches from an export file that can be taken from Watchee or WatcheePro. It will transfer most of the data (not images and such). I hope this explains it.

It was an early design choice of Watchee that the collection always sits 100% on the user's device. This way the app will continue to fully work even if the network on the device is down.

### 4/5 — Great Watch App

*2022-12-13*

Does what it says - helps you manage your watch collection and capture all the key info you need to keep them ticking!! Would like to see a field for Lift Angle as I always have to go look it up before using the Timegrapher - better still, the ability to add your own custom fields etc. Would also like an option for a daily reminder to record the watch I am wearing each day. Recommended!!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, we're happy to hear you seem to like Watchee. Regarding the daily reminder, you can actually activate it within the app on the settings tab by enabling the "Wear notifications" switch. Watchee (regular version) does not allow tracking of Lift Angle, but that can be tracked with the WatcheePro App (separate app). WatcheePro also allows one to store timegrapher measurements (user has to have an external device to do the actual measurements) for each watch in six positions and it calculates their averages and deltas for rate, amplitude and beat errors.
Kind regards,
Anssi

### 4/5 — Great app, needs data share

*2020-06-10*

I love the ability to catalog all of my watches. Plenty of fields to capture all specs I’d care about. Easy to add images and purchase info. Having warranty info centralized is great too.

With so many enthusiasts I wish there was a way for data share and building a database with some AI to pre-populate as much as possible. So many fields could be tied to brand/model or reference. Can usually be done privately to preserve anonymity. This is the killer feature the market is missing.

**Developer response:** Hi!,

Thank you for choosing Watchee and also reviewing it. I understand the point about automation for pre-population of watch data and this is something that might just happen later. Certainly it's a huge topic and would be very cool to have also that kind of functionality.

Cheers,
Anssi

### 4/5 — Useful app, some things missing

*2020-04-19*

I needed an app to manage my collection and this served the purpose; a few arrangements can be done to boost its usefulness.
Ps I put them here for the developer
- a bug/suggestions button (so I don’t have to come here to point out things!)
- add tungsten to case materials
- add an option to choose which characteristics you care off
- add option for putting lume type and color
- for the movement: great thing would be to have the most common movements to automatically write the characteristics; in any case would be good to have 2 spaces: developer and caliber name

**Developer response:** Thank you for choosing Watchee and reviewing it!

Also big thanks for some great suggestions of which at least some are likely to appear with future updates. I hope you enjoy using Watchee meanwhile.

Cheers,
Anssi

### 4/5 — Great app for managing watch collection

*2019-10-30, version 1.6.3*

If you are a watch collector, this is the best app I have found for managing your collection. It’s great to have all the information about your watch all in one place. A couple suggestions to the developer: allow the option of including the Notes section into the PDF export, a couple lines of the PDF export aren’t aligned correctly (sorry a bit OCD), allow place for additional pictures (more than just the current two), would be nice to include more complications such as Remontoire and Tourbillon and others, allow backing up the data to iCloud.

### 4/5 — Very close to great

*2019-06-07*

This app is a nice way to keep the no on all my watches. It is pretty easy to load them, if you gather the info such as serial number, movement, etc. first. Adding photos is a snap and everything is well laid out.

Here’s what would make this a five star app.
There isn’t a lace to add certain bezel types. I suggest for ease of adding, make these ‘complications (I know they’re not really, but it’s an easy way to add them): 60 click unidirectional dive bezel, 120 click unidirectional dive bezel, bidirectional slide rule bezel, and bidirectional timing bezel.

There is no place to add an important measure, which is the Lug to lug’ measurement in millimeters.

There also doesn’t seem to be a way to add ‘wear days’ for a watch manually. A nice thing to have would be a calendar that allows you to click on a date and add that as a day a wa ch was worn. Maybe not unlimited but 60-90 days back would be nice for people like me loading up a collection.

The documents are nice. A great layout for the screen showing the watch collection would be something that looks like a glass top watch box.

Anyway, overall a really nice way to keep info on a watch collection. Nice job!

**Developer response:** Many thanks for the review! Really pleased to hear you're liking the app.
Your suggestions are also great and definitely will consider them for future updates.. Regarding the 'wear days' the functionality is in fact keeping track of actual number of times the user has worn a specific watch. I.e. someone might wear three different watches during one day, so for ease of use it was decided to track actual usages together with last worn dates for each watch. The app is frequently updated and keeps getting better thanks to suggestions just like the one's you sent. Many thanks for these.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I use it daily!

*2025-12-23*

I’ve been using this app for over a year to keep track of my 30+ watches. I get up in the morning, pick a watch, put it on, and swipe the app. Simple routine to keep track of daily wear.
It’s easy to add a watch and “hide” one that’s been sold. It handles all the information I need for each watch and I really like that I can add notes to each watch.
My preferred screen is the one that shows the wear count, I wish it would stay on that screen every time launch the app, but that’s a small complaint considering the capabilities of this app.
Looking forward to future updates.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback, we are very happy to hear that you like Watchee and we hope that you will like the future updates as well.

### 5/5 — Great app for tracking your watch collection!

*2023-08-17*

I’ve been using Watchee for a few years now to track my watch collection. It’s fantastic! I love how I can put in all the details about each watch, check the timing, and track how often I wear each watch. The developers have done a good job enhancing features over the years. There is so much data in here, my only suggestion is to allow for more exporting of data, such as the data related to history of wearing each watch and date.

**Developer response:** Hi Nate19772,

If you are a watch collector, this is the best app I have found for managing your collection. It’s great to have so much information about your watches all in one place. A couple suggestions to the developer:

Great app. Very handy. The only thing (imo) that could make it even better would be addition of fields for winder settings: turns-per-day and rotation direction. Not too many apps are launched each and every day. This one - is. Big thanks to the developer.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2022-02-03*

This is great app and I use it everyday. It is nice to have on my phone so I am able to share with other watch enthusiasts.

A nice feature would be able to synchronize with my iPad so I can enter data on either device and have it show upon the other.

Another added feature that would be really, really nice would be to have a daily price update on the pre-owned market. That way one would know how ones watch collection is doing.

**Developer response:** Thank you for choosing Watchee and reviewing it!

### 5/5 — Good app but….

*2021-11-11*

Able to enter very detailed information, but please add a way to easily transfer the data from one device to another (either through iCloud or a file backup/restore method). People switch and upgrade their phones and it would be awesome to not lose all of the data (such as number of times worn) and to not have to enter all of the watches and their respective information all over again.

**Developer response:** Hi,

Regarding the data transfer what one can do currently when upgrading iPhone is simply setup the new iPhone from iCloud backup (a backup which includes the old phone + it's apps + their data) and thus transfer also Watchee app with it's full watch collection to the new iPhone.

Also we have added an import option, but that's currently available only for WatcheePro version (where one can import data from Watchee to WatcheePro). You can export your Watchee collection to a CSV file, and then import into WatcheePro. Most data is transferable, except for photos, service information, and accuracy test data. We might also add an import option for regular Watchee with a later update.

Hope this helps,
Anssi

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2021-03-27*

Overall great app to track my watch collection. Love the attention to detail.
One question to the developers: Will an upgrade to the new WatcheePro keep my data from Watchee? Thanks and keep up the good work!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback, we're really glad to hear that you like Watchee.
Regarding your question about WatcheePro, Watchee and WatcheePro are two separate apps that can co-exist on your iPhone.
You can export your Watchee collection to a CSV file, and then import into WatcheePro. Most data is transferable, except for photos, service information, and accuracy test data. As a use case example, some users have decided to use Watchee for sold Watches and WatcheePro for active collection, but it's totally up to one's liking.

Also the iPad version will have more features since the iPad devices enable more things to be shown on the screen etc. If you have an iPad, perhaps consider checking it out.

Cheers,
Anssi

### 5/5 — Excellent App !!!! Deserves 6 stars out of 5!

*2020-12-31*

Update to my 09/19/2020 review.

The developer was very responsive to the comments in my previous review and has enhanced the app. Unfortunately, the app store does not allow a 6 points out 5 points rating, so I will have to just post 5 stars.

The developer just released WatcheePro which has even more features. I have both and they are both excellent apps.

09/19/2020 review:
This is an excellent app which deserves 6 star rating out of a possible 5!!! The developer included just about everything a collector needs!!!

....But it needs a safeguard to prevent the user from accidentally deleting an entire watch record with a stray swipe of the finger. It happened to me twice, and is very easy to do by mistake.

Please include a safeguard which would require the user to confirm the they want the record deleted. ...like a pop up menu that asks “are you sure you want to delete this watch record, Y or N?”

Finally, since many of us already have a time grapher, it would be great if you include a section to keep a historical record of each watch’s accuracy, amplitude, beat error, and lift angle. The user would input the data.

Aloha and thank you for an excellent app,

Gil

**Developer response:** Hi Gil,

Many thanks for choosing Watchee and taking the time to review it. I'm very glad to hear that you like the app. Regarding those suggestions the safeguard is definitely going to the high-priority list, so it should happen in the following updates. The time grapher thing is actually something that has been thought already and I certainly see a place for it also. Stay tuned and I hope you will like the future updates as well (the app is often updated based on reviews just like yours and by the fact that the developer is an active watch enthusiast himself). Once again I wish to thank you for the suggestions :)

Cheers from Helsinki,
Anssi

Edit. 10th October. The safe guard suggested is now within the app with the release v.2.0.4. Many thanks for the great suggestion :)
