## What is WatchGrid?

Organize Your Watch Collection
Add watches with brand, model, reference number, serial number, movement type, case material, dial color, strap details, and case size.

Track Every Detail
Store purchase prices in your preferred currency, attach multiple photos per watch, and keep certificates, warranty cards, and receipts organized with the built-in document manager. Set a primary photo for each watch and browse your full gallery in detail.

Know What You Wear
Log which watch you wear each day with the Wear Calendar. Browse past months, see your streaks, and discover patterns in your rotation. The monthly summary shows exactly how often each piece gets wrist time.

See the Big Picture
The Statistics dashboard gives you a clear view of your collection: total value, most worn watches with bar and pie charts, brand distribution, price ranges, average cost, and value breakdown by brand.

Widgets for Your Home Screen
Three beautiful widgets keep your collection at your fingertips — Today's Watch shows what's on your wrist, Wear Streak tracks your logging consistency, and Next Pick suggests a random watch from your collection. Available in small, medium, circular, and rectangular sizes.

Meetup Mode
Showing your collection to friends? Meetup Mode instantly hides prices, sold watches, wear data, and anything else you'd rather keep private. Fully customizable — choose exactly what to show.

Organize Your Way
Filter by Collection, Sold, Wishlist, or Archive. Switch between grid and list views. Reorder watches manually. Search by brand, model, or reference number.

Sync & Backup
Connect a folder in iCloud Drive or Dropbox for automatic syncing across devices. Export and import your full collection as JSON anytime. Your data, your control.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.1 — 2026-08-13

Export your collection as a spreadsheet.

- New CSV export: every watch with its specs, purchase price and current value in one file. Opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, so it's easy to hand over to your insurance. Includes case size, thickness, lug width, water resistance, limited edition info, storage location, wear count and last worn date.

- Fixed: the JSON export sometimes opened a blank share screen instead of your file.

- A few more hidden surprises for owners of certain reference numbers.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-01

Fixed and improved the Monthly Recap (Share Studio)! (Thx, Ralf!)

### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-29

- Monthly Recap, your way: In Share Studio you can now pick exactly which blocks appear on your Monthly Recap card: Most Worn, Least Worn, New Addition, Sold, Days Logged and Top by Wrist Time.

- Limited Editions: Mark a watch as a limited edition and note its number (e.g. 10 of 25).

- Statistics: Wear Streaks moved to the top, and Most Worn lists now expand to show everything.

- Smarter reminders: No more daily nudge if you've already logged a watch for today.

- Meetup Mode: The (newly introduced) banner no longer overlaps navigation buttons.

### 1.3.9 — 2026-07-08

- Meetup Mode now shows a discreet banner at the top of the app so you always know when prices and sensitive info are hidden

- Added two new spec fields: Case Thickness (mm) and Water Resistance (ATM)

- Storage Location is now only shown for watches in your Collection — hidden when adding to Wishlist or Sold

### 1.3.7 — 2026-07-02

- Share Studio: The SOTC poster now shows your entire collection

- »See all« buttons in Statistics let you expand the full Most Worn and Most Worn Brand lists (thx, Simi)

- Movement and Case Material no longer have defaults when adding a watch, so you won't accidentally save the wrong spec (thx, Raf!)

- »Tuning Fork« added as a movement type

- The brand database now includes »DUG Glashütte«

- Photos are now at the top of the Add/Edit form for quicker access

- Storage Locations chart in Statistics respects your privacy setting

- Wear logging now highlights the model name instead of the brand

- Small polish throughout
