Cannot connect *2025-07-31* I’ve tried multiple times to get this app to connect to the truck. -deleted app -restarted app -deleted other keys on truck -restarted watch and iPhone Nothing works. Just get “peer” error and then a second error of app cannot connect. Don’t waste your money. **Developer response:** It seems you’re running a much older version of the app, which may be causing the problem. Cannot sign in. Poor instructions as to how to proceed. Hope that I didn’t just blow $30. Every time I enter code sent to email I get error message but no information regarding what the problem is. ### 1/5 — Can’t Pair *2025-07-29* I have tried many times and ways to get this to work with no luck. Deleting the app and reloading many times. Disappointing. ### 1/5 — Not able to connect to Rivian *2025-07-29* I purchased the app by thinking paid version will work. But I am not able to connect my vehicle. I started the set up process and received pop up in my rivian that bluetooth pop will appear in my mobile. Bluetooth pop up never appeared in my mobile. I tried 15-20 times. **Developer response:** It looks like you’re using an older version of the app, which may be causing the issue. Rivian has different vehicles that all perform slightly differently. We are working hard to address any issues you may be running into. Can you be specific with the issue? Does it have to do with pairing (Rivian only allows 7 keys). Are you running into another issue? Worse yet, the watch app doesn’t show accurate real time data, and for example when trying to lock/unlock, the app pretends as if action was successful even if the car doesn’t register it. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-09-09* Unable to connect to my G2 R1S. I have the latest app update and has never worked for me. Waste of money. **Developer response:** Sorry for the problems. We have a new update in the app store, can you please try again. Cannot get pairing to work…just keeps saying “try again”. Is there a newer version than this? The version listed on the App Store is version 1.0.2. This is rather confusing (is 1.0.2 newer than 1.0.5?). Please either fix the app or refund my money. The app will not pair to the phone or watch. My Rivian is a ‘25 R1T and my iPhone is a 16 pro running iOS 18.6. My watch is a series 8 running watchOS version 11.6 (22U84). **Developer response:** Thanks for letting us know about the issue. Doesn’t work, awful response time from Customer Support, and to boot after multiple submissions to the App Store requesting a refund for the insane $29.99 charge I got denied. In all of my years purchasing and using apps, this takes the cake for the WORST experience. Do not buy! ### 1/5 — What Happened to the 9 reviews that said app doesn’t work? *2025-08-06* I was a beta tester it didn’t work, I paid $30 it doesn’t work. There were 9 or 10 reviews posted yesterday that said it didn’t work. Was excited to download it, when it was announced. Guess what? It’s terrible, doesn’t get past getting a code to verify your email account. I have deleted the app, reinstalled and zip, same nonsense.
