## What is WatchPC?

WatchPC monitors and controls home PC's or notebook computers with your smartphone.

WatchPC is simple and easy to use but provides very effective way of monitoring and controlling PC's remotely. It is based on the user's app and website database to allow or block apps and websites. All rules are clear and transparent both to parents and kids, so help kids control app and internet usage themselves.

1. Manage(control) mode for apps and webs
 * Allow(Blacklist) mode: all apps/websites are allowed except those in the Blacklist. Apps in the Blacklist are blocked but parents can still set the running time of each app. Websites in the Blacklist are blocked but each website can be set enabled/disabled separately.
 * Block(Whitelist) mode: all apps/websites are blocked except those in the Whitelist. Apps in the Whitelist are allowed but parents can still set the running time of each app. Websites in the Whitelist are allowed but each website can be set enabled/disabled separately.
 * Sleep mode: the PC software stop monitoring app or web activities. Parents can set each independently. This mode is useful when parents or other adult family members need to share computers with kids.
2. Build your own database
 Most parental control apps based on their database which stores apps and websites to determine which one to allow or block. Considering there are countless number of apps and websites which keep changing, it is practically impossible to filter out undesirable contents. On the other hand, number of apps and websites that normal users use are quite limited. Therefore making your own lists will be more clear, effective to avoid false blocking.
 For apps, you can simply add apps to Blacklist or Whitelist from the running app list or history app list. For apps you don't want to control such as office or utility software, they can be added to Ignore list which will not be monitored. For websites, you can directly input the website you want to manage and put useful sites in Ignore list.
3. Installation
 After installing WatchPC in your smartphone, you need to download and install PC software from our website on your PC. If you don't need our app, just delete computer in WatchPC app, then PC software will be uninstalled automatically.
