## What is WatchQueue?

Stop juggling six streaming apps just to remember where you left off. WatchQueue is one home for everything you're watching — it tracks every show and movie down to the episode, shows you where to stream each one, and always knows what to play next.

KNOW WHAT'S NEXT
Open any series and the next unwatched episode is already waiting — with its synopsis, air date, and a one-tap jump into the app that's streaming it. Mark episodes or whole seasons watched, and your Up Next keeps itself current.

WHERE TO WATCH — YOURS FIRST
Every title shows exactly which apps carry it, split into Stream and Rent or Buy. The services you already pay for surface first, so you never rent something you could've streamed for free.

DISCOVER SOMETHING TO WATCH
New episodes this week, what's trending, and what's popular — plus a personalized row for each of your streaming services, so Discover reflects what you can actually watch tonight.

YOUR LISTS, TOGETHER
The Lists tab brings your Trakt lists and your Plex watchlist into one place as clean rails of poster art. Add anything to a list straight from Discover, Search, or a title's page.

DECIDE IN SECONDS
Not sure what to put on? Sort your in-progress shows by Fewest Left, Most Left, or Recently Watched — or just hit Shuffle. Started something months ago and drifted? Round up the ones you abandoned and finish them or let them go.

ONE APP, EVERY SCREEN
WatchQueue is a universal app: buy it once and it's yours on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Your whole queue stays in sync across all of them through iCloud — no account required.

BRING YOUR HISTORY (OPTIONAL)
• Connect Trakt to pull in everything you've already watched and keep your progress in sync everywhere.
• Point WatchQueue at your Plex server and it marks what you already own right on the posters — then opens any title or episode in Plex or Infuse.

WatchQueue is great the moment you open it, and even better with the services you already use. One queue, finally in one place.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.4 — 2026-08-19

2.4 Update:

Overseerr requests:
on any title you don't already have, a Request button sends it to your Radarr/Sonarr through Overseerr. Connect it in Settings → Requests (URL + API key, with Test & Save).

Plex tab:
a dedicated tab to browse your whole Plex library (Continue Watching, movies, shows, sorted grids), loading instantly from cache, with play straight into Plex/Infuse.

Fixed an issue where screen would overflow on NON MAX models.
New Color balance with an Ember Glow

### 2.3 — 2026-08-11

Watch Next knows what episode you're on.
It used to show a poster and a count. Now the hero tells you the season, episode, and title of what's actually next — plus how much of the season is left and how long it's been.

A new look, matched to the Apple TV app.
Rebuilt around the same visual language: film-sprocket poster edges, a progress line under every show, and shows two episodes from finished flagged so you can clear them.

A lot more to dig through on Discover.
New This Week, In Theaters Now, and Most Anticipated join the lineup, along with New Episodes from the shows you follow. Genre, decade, and studio rows rotate each time you come back, plus community-curated lists.

Where to watch, up front.
Discover now tells you what a title streams on before you open it.

Also in this release
• Rows show how far they run as you swipe them
• Discover reshuffles properly when you return to the app

### 2.0 — 2026-08-05

New look, matched to Apple TV:

Redesigned Discover with a swipeable, cinematic hero for what's trending.
New tab layout. Discover, Watch Next, Watchlist, Lists.
Watch Next now leads with a "Jump Back In" hero for your in-progress shows.
Rebuilt title pages: bigger hero, full cast, extras, sequels, where to watch, and reviews.
Tap episodes right on the title page to mark them watched.
Reorganized Settings with a cleaner sync-source picker (iCloud, Trakt, Plex).
Faster, more reliable syncing across all your sources.
Plenty of polish and fixes throughout.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-30

What's New in 2.1 (iOS)

Tap a streaming service on any title and jump straight into that app, right to what you want to watch — Max, Disney+, Hulu, Prime Video, Paramount+, Apple TV and Netflix.

Discover has been rebuilt from the ground up. It now opens with Trending This Week, Popular and Top Rated Movies and Shows, then new episodes from your shows, what's trending on the services you actually have, and hand-picked community lists worth browsing.

Search is faster and smarter — results start ranking from the very first letter you type.

Shows with huge back catalogs now open instantly instead of stalling.

Plus performance and stability fixes throughout.
