It's hard to explore the app and know if it's worth paying for when most of it is paywalled and there's no trial.

**Developer response:** There is a free 7 day trial included with the annual subscription. Otherwise, most of the app is actually free with all emergency alerts, preparedness gauge, checklist and a sample of survival guides available without subscription. Emergency Scanner function, advanced checklist and full survival guides do require subscription but core functions are fully available in the free version.

For a casual prepper like myself, this app has me covered. The survival guides alone make it worth having but I love the extensive checklist and alerts features!
