## What is Wateera?

Wateera schedules your day on the six prayer windows instead of the 24-hour clock.

You don't write "read at 8:00 PM". You write "read 20 minutes after Maghrib" — and it stays right in June, in December, and on the 27th of Ramadan, because the window moves with the sun while your habit stays where you put it.

— SIX WINDOWS, NOT TWENTY-FOUR HOURS —

The day runs from Fajr to the next Fajr, in six contiguous windows: Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha. Today's list is grouped by window, not by hour, and the arc across the top shows where you are in the day and how much of this window is left.

Anchor a habit to any of the six, up to three hours before or after. "Fifteen minutes before Maghrib" files itself in the afternoon, which is where you will look for it. A plain clock time still works if you want one.

— TIMES YOU CAN CHECK —

Prayer times are calculated on your device from your coordinate. No lookup, no service, no network. Umm al-Qura is the default; Muslim World League, Egyptian and Karachi are there too, with the Asr shadow set to the majority or the Hanafi position. Every screen that shows a time says it is calculated and names the method.

If your masjid differs by a minute or two, correct any of the six by hand and everything in the app moves with it.

Wateera is not a prayer app. It never logs a prayer, never scores one and never reminds you to pray. Prayer is the clock here, not the scoreboard.

— REMINDERS AT WINDOWS, NOT AT HOURS —

One reminder per window, naming what you filed there. Never a count of what you missed. Ten days are scheduled ahead, so a week away from the app still gets its reminders — and they move with the times instead of sitting on a fixed hour.

— A YEAR YOU CAN READ IN HIJRI —

The year grid switches between Gregorian and Hijri, with Ramadan marked. Days logged, full days, times logged. Streaks, the heat map and your whole history are free and stay free.

— ROUTINES YOU RUN —

Chain steps into a routine anchored to a window — "after Isha" — and run it with a player that walks you through it, one step at a time. One routine is free.

— NO ACCOUNT. NO SERVER. NO SYNC. —

There is no sign-in in this app, because there is nothing to sign in to. Your log lives in one database on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is measured: no analytics, no attribution, no crash reporter. Turn the network off and the app is unchanged.

Your location, if you give it, is read once at roughly kilometre accuracy and used on the device to calculate prayer times. It is never transmitted. Say no and pick from 58 cities by hand instead — nothing is withheld from you for declining.

— ARABIC, WRITTEN NOT TRANSLATED —

Full Arabic with real right-to-left layout, Arabic-Indic numerals if you want them, Hijri dates and Saudi phrasing. Change the language inside the app.

— FREE, FOREVER —

Unlimited habits. Your whole history with no cutoff. Full export to JSON and CSV. Both languages. All six windows. The year grid. Reminders. Streaks. None of it ever goes behind a price.

Wateera Plus adds three things: unlimited routines, deeper statistics — your strongest weekday, your best week, how much you actually do — and custom symbols for your habits. Habit colours stay free.

Plus is 9 SAR/month, 29 SAR for 6 months or 49 SAR/year, each with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time in two taps; there is a link inside the app that shows you how.

— — —— — —— — —— — —

Prayer times in Wateera are calculated from the position of the sun. They are not taken from an authority, and they can differ by a minute or two from your masjid's timetable, which follows a published convention. Wateera does not rule on prayer times and is not a substitute for your local masjid.
