They try to trick people into downloading it by running an ad that looks like a pop-up alert in similar games. I was playing a different water sort game when I seemingly got a pop-up saying “We’ve made some changes. Download the updated version now.” When I tapped “ok”, I was brought to the download page for this totally unrelated app. If they’re willing to be that dishonest, who knows how dishonest they are in things like their privacy policy.
