### 3/5 — Can’t change name

*2026-06-11, version 2.2.0*

Please allow name changes— part of a system, and it registered the first word of the name we put down as the name

### 2/5 — I prefer the classic iHydrate app

*2023-12-07, version 2.0.3*

When I first downloaded iHydrate many years ago, I really liked look and functionality with the pie chart to track daily progress. Even though I wasn’t a premium member, I found it very useful. I had a lot of capability.
Last week I replaced my old iPhone and had to download the new version. Although I’m a cat person, I don’t like the revised graphics and ui.
At this point I would never consider becoming a premium member in this application. I don’t understand why you destroyed a perfectly functioning app.

### 5/5 — Helpful app

*2023-11-03*

Water tracker is an app that helps to keep up with your daily water intake on specific times leaving you hydrated, energized and ready to perform whatever task you need to accomplish be it a mental or physical task, and everyone knows that the human brain functions better when oxygenated which is precisely what water contains, also water can assist you in making more informed choices when it comes to food, for example people eat less when hydrated than when they are not hydrated.

### 5/5 — Water tracker

*2023-11-03, version 2.0.2*

I find this app easy to use and the reminders are gentle and helpful and if you’re too busy the reminders are not disruptive

### 5/5 — Great App

*2023-11-03, version 2.0.2*

I have this water tracker app for 4 hours now and it’s been great. Drank two glasses of water so far.

### 5/5 — Very good app with apple watch app as bonus

*2023-11-03, version 2.0.2*

I was looking something simple and free without much of the ads. This water tracker is very good. UI is well polished, the features are well presented and apple watch app is very useful. Only advanced features are locked for paid user. I may try them sometime later. Overall best app for water tracking

### 5/5 — My most used app

*2023-11-03*

I have never been good at staying hydrated until I got this app. I use it everyday and no longer have this problem. It works well and syncs across all my devices. I recently had an issue following an update and contacted the developer support. They responded immediately and helped me fix the issue. I highly recommend this app.

### 5/5 — Excellent app very helpful

*2023-11-03*

If like me, you want to drink more water and need a bit of help monitoring it and getting reminders, this App will do the job for you very well. Reminders are useful and can be adapted to what’s going to work for you and the Apple Watch app makes it easy to enter something you’ve had to drink very quickly so you can keep track. The diagram of the body slowly filling up with water as you hydrate during the day is a great visual and helps with motivation. Well worth the small annual fee.

### 5/5 — How motivating!

*2023-11-03, version 2.0.2*

I absolutely love this water tracker app! As a struggling eater drinker, this app has helped me so much. Love competing with myself and the ncouragement of just getting liquid in to make the water count. Whoever made this is genius!

### 5/5 — It’s working

*2023-11-03, version 2.0.2*

I guess the best thing you can say about an water tracker app is that it is doing what it is supposed to do… and it is. For the past month, I have only missed one day where I did not achieve my goal…so I think that says it all!!

### 2/5 — This app used to be good.

*2023-11-01, version 2.0.2*

The old interface was nice and simple. The new one if far more cluttered. Plus the basic features I used to get for free are now wanting me to pay a subscription for. I’ll be looking for a new app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not what is was

*2025-08-29, version 2.2.0*

I used to enjoy using this app, but then it was “updated” and I can’t really use it. I’d like to end my subscription. I’ve tried looking for my Visa info to remove it before renewal but can’t find it. I’ve tried deleting my account but get “error internal”. I’ve emailed iHydrate three times but no response. Am I stuck with this? Should I delete to app from everywhere one my iPhone? I really don’t want to change my Visa because it’ll mean I have to change the info on every business I use online…a big hassle.

### 1/5 — Completely changed everything.

*2024-03-18, version 2.1.2*

I have used ihydrate for close to 8+ years and I enjoyed it so much I even paid for the upgrade. Now that they have updated the app to subscriptions, I have completely lost the extra features I paid for.
On top of that, I can’t find a way to contact them becasue the contact links are broken.

I used to love the simplicity of this app and the flexibility the upgrade I paid for provided.

I am angry that u wasn’t informed of this update for that my money went to waste like that. I do not support this app anymore.

### 1/5 — Lost years of tracking

*2023-12-04, version 2.0.3*

I’ve used iHydrate for years and it was a great simple app for tracking my beverage consumption throughout the day. With this new update, all of my data is gone(without notice) and now much for the basic functionality is behind a pay wall. I understand everyone is trying to make money with subscriptions nowadays but for a water app, $40 is ridiculous. Moreover, the new interface is rather childish - I just need water tracking, I don’t need a cartoon cat.

### 1/5 — To much

*2023-11-03, version 2.0.2*

Instead of getting rid of the old app, why didn’t you just write a brand new one? Apparently, you did write a brand new one, but you deleted the old one.

The previous version did one simple thing right and that’s all I need. The new one does everything except for cleaning out your cats litter box. I don’t need all that crap and I don’t need to spend a monthly subscription either.

### 1/5 — Changes

*2023-11-03, version 2.0.2*

I hate the update. I want the ability to set my own water intake goal. Without that this app useless.

### 1/5 — Lost all my previous history

*2023-11-02, version 2.0.2*

After this update I lost all my over 5 years of history!!!

### 1/5 — Basic functions now behind a paywall?! Wow.

*2023-11-01, version 2.0.2*

I've used this app (for free) daily for years to record my water intake for health reasons, and this update is so bad I'm deleting the app and have already found its replacement. Basic functions I've used for years, like adjusting the time of your drink when you record it, has now been put behind a paywall! Even something as simple as being able to set your own daily goal instead it of being dictated based on your weight/activity/etc. is now suddenly impossible! Very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Version 2.0.2 don’t bother

*2023-11-01, version 2.0.2*

Deleted this after the update upgrade. Totally different product. I don’t want a cute cat. The old version was great and the free version was perfect. You have to buy the subscription if you want this new version to do anything.

### 1/5 — You will need to Pay $$ now

*2023-11-01, version 2.0.1*

They updated this app and took away the ability to log tea, coffee, or juice unless you want to pay $5 MONTHLY or $40 a YEAR for it. The cat water counter is also dumb. Will be using another app.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. Fails at create account

*2023-10-28, version 1.5.2*

I read several reviews. Paid my money, started setting up the account and…. Nothing! The app points to a server that is unreachable. Thanks for wasting my time. I’d like a refund please

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Me encantó

*2023-11-14, version 2.0.3*

Muy buena app!

### 5/5 — Best Water Track App in the App Store!

*2023-11-13, version 2.0.2*

I recently started using iHydrate, and it has completely transformed my hydration habits. This water tracker app is brilliantly designed, offering an intuitive and user-friendly interface. It not only helps me keep track of my daily water intake but also sends timely reminders, ensuring I stay well-hydrated throughout the day. The app's ability to personalize my hydration goals based on my activity level and weather is impressive. Plus, the insightful statistics and progress charts make it fun and motivating to stay on track. For anyone looking to improve their water intake, iHydrate is a must-have. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — Just what I need

*2023-11-05*

I tried this & another, the other celebrated each "drink" better, & I was filling up an image of a person which looked cooler, BUT I couldn't stick with that one, I loved THIS Hydration water tracker the most! The daily ounces of water goes high enough (the other didn't) I can easily tap the button that had my saved cup size for fast logging! It saves my history. the different pictures for the bottles are very pleasing. The reminder intervals are superior to the other! I Love it!

### 5/5 — Pretty app

*2023-11-05*

I am very pleasantly surprised at this app. It is pretty easy to use and tbh, until I started using it, I did not realize how little water I drank each day. I Being free is a big +, but if you added some relevant features to it like other things a person could track (ex. Tracking nutritional items) ect, it could be a worthwhile paid application. So decent job, guys. I'm happy with it. Thanks

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2023-11-05*

I love the gentle sound of water to remind me that it's time for me to take a drink! It really increases my water intake. I love the messages that come along with every reminder. The app. calculated how many ounces of water I need daily and it adds up the Oz I have consumed. The changes I feel in my body as a result of reminders has drastically impacted the quality of my health. I will never delete this app.

### 5/5 — thank you

*2023-11-04, version 2.0.2*

I absolutely LOVE this app. I have really been feeling better and love building the habit of drinking water. Thanks for this app 😊I absolutely LOVE this app. I have really been feeling better and love building the habit of drinking water. Thanks for this app 😊

### 5/5 — Very nice water tracker app

*2023-11-04, version 2.0.2*

Just downloaded and used today for the time... Loving the design and functionality so far! Very tempted to purchase the ad free support, but may give it a few more days. I do have one request: an Android Wear app would make this the ultimate water tracker. I'd gladly pay extra for that addition,

### 5/5 — Great app

*2023-11-04, version 2.0.2*

Great water tracker app. It replaced my constant timers and lets me easily record an amount taken with a reminder or it lets me update with a larger non specific amount if I stepped away from my phone for a bit.. Very customizable but also importantly, intuitive. Ads were not too intrusive to entice me to try it. Pro was cheap. App let's you set time intervals for water intake, which is crucial. Since I discovered I need to drink small amounts at a time to make the water usable by the old body. 🤓

### 5/5 — 5-May

*2023-11-04, version 2.0.2*

I'm pregnant, and I need a certain amount of water a day. This helps me track it, give helpful tips, and send me notifications to remind me to do it.

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2023-11-03, version 2.0.2*

Very useful app, I started using yhis after my kidney transplant for tracking my water intake and it jas really helped me a lot in achieving my goals..
