I’ve used this app for years, but the support section to report an issue causes the app to immediately crash. The words have fonts that are mixed in in both my bubbles and words in the app. Anything that could be used as an abbreviation seems to show up in a different font with periods added like CO. Which is fine if it’s being used that way, but not in the middle of a word. Now my bubbles look like gibberish and are very confusing with all the weird fonts and sizing in my bubbles.

Update (2025) most of the glitches have been addressed. Text sometimes presents weird in the resident diaries still.

Update 6/2/26:
The daily review feature and completed treasure chest feature won’t work for me and tech support is unresponsive. I’ve reached out at least 3 times about this over the last month and no response from tech support. Very disappointed because when working, the app is awesome.

This is has been so helpful in the past few years that I’ve been using it. I just hate to see that not much has really improved or been done about glitches that were happening in the app with letters and looking skewed. I also wish they would expand more and build more islands as I’ve gotten through almost all of them by now. It would be nice to see how this app continues to develop.

毎日やることを整理できるので助かってます。

ただ気になるのが、問い合わせが中華系言語(不勉強なので中国、台湾、香港のどれかもわからない)でしか行えないこと。
まず問い合わせしようにもどうしたらいいか全くわからない。

I’ve used WaterDo for nearly 3 years now, and while at first it was great, things have gone downhill.

Accessing your tasks on separate devices usually doesn’t happen with the first sync, and sometimes deleted tasks will load instead.

The text in the app has random letters, numbers, and capitals mixed in. It’s also varying in fonts, text size, letter spacing, and boldness within each word.

The keys for the chests are too easy to get, and too hard to get rid of. Because of the 10 hour buffer between opening chests, I have 73 keys that I’m essentially stuck with.

The app doesn’t always register touch well, and has difficulty loading/syncing data even on the original device.

Because of all these issues, I regret purchasing the premium version of this app. I feel like it’s being neglected, and am currently using other methods to organize my tasks. I don’t have a lot of confidence that this will be fixed, because it’s been getting worse over time rather than getting better. Hopefully this will change, because it has so much potential.

Once the app functionality is fixed, I have some suggestions for additions as well:

Due dates- Including the due date of a task separate from when the task should be performed

More colors- Adding more colors would greatly help organization. Some color suggestions include pinks, lemon yellow, and teal. It would be even better to create and save my own custom colors.

Options to list items- the bubble setting is nice, but it is also sometimes helpful to have a list.

Multiple lists- Having one section for every task is daunting and stretches the organizational benefit of the colors.

I'm using Japanese, but the characters that aren't displaying are really ruining the experience. I suspect it's related to the font being used. Japanese fonts with limited character sets may display gaps even in everyday text. There are many affordable Japanese fonts available that include a large number of kanji characters, so I'd appreciate it if you could address this.

I really like this app and subscribed to the lifetime subscription. I really love how simple and easy to use, and the design is wonderful. 

Though there are some bugs and issues in the 3.9.4 version, I was able to contact the support team and receive constant feedback and reply, also notify the issue to the technical team to solve the problem although this app is ending its support.

But overall i think that the app is quite unstable. It still has bugs here and there, like the font isn’t showing right.

App has been super glitchy. Text is broken up weird. I submitted a question on the support part. I don’t believe I ever heard back, and I sent a message almost a week ago. Every time I try to look at the conversation, the app shuts down. Wasted my money for a membership on an app that doesn’t work.

Update: I hate the changes you've made, and now I don't use this app anymore. The whole point was for things to be more tangibly and visibly satisfying, but now the water doesn't rise and I can't choose the size of my bubbles. And the tasks I enter don't even all show up! How can I visualize what I have to do when I can't see it? Who lost the vision here? You guys screwed up. I would never recommend this now. I got this app to help activate my acenses when I have important things to do, which if IMPORTANT for people with ADHD. Now your app changed all the good things and it is BAD.

Do not buy this app, the devs have only got worse since they became popular; the app has remained broken and unfunctional for a month now.  You cannot even contact support as the app crashes whenever you do.  They do not care about it, they only want your money.

I have used, loved, and recommended WaterDo since its release. I am a Premium user. However, I want to create an hourly Daily reminder and I cannot find a way to accomplish this. It immediately goes to multiple times a Week.

Pure genius for brains that get frustrated or discouraged by linear task management apps!!! This app is dead simple to use, but has exactly the features I need to keep my tasks organized and myself motivated to complete them. The statistics are fantastic, and you can search tasks and restore any tasks logged that are marked complete or deleted by mistake. The island building is charming and not too distracting. I find the cozy aesthetic delightful, and the playful water bubbles really take the temperature down when looking at what I have to do in a day. I am floored by how much I have used this app, and how much more relaxed I feel about my to-dos!!

Often these kinds of apps over-do the gamification aspect, which defeats the whole purpose of. WaterDo is the right balance of simple, fun, and well organized. It has a little bit of gamification, but not enough to be distracting; just motivating. It’s really helped me feel better and be more organized. Thanks to the team !

I’ve been using this app since 2021 and I love how motivating and creative it is.
I’ve already unlocked all the islands though, and now there aren’t any new rewards to work toward, which makes it a bit harder to stay motivated.
It’d be amazing if you could add new islands or items in the future!

Os agradezco mucho que hayáis actualizado. Corrigiendo errores porque últimamente no podía utilizar la aplicación, ya que las tareas no se escribían bien se solapaban las palabras una encima de otra. Os mandé un correo pero me dijisteis o yo entendí que ya no iba a haber más actualizaciones de esta aplicación, lo cual me dió mucha pena. Hoy he vuelto a intentar instalármela y he visto que habéis actualizado hace dos semanas así que muchas gracias ya puedo utilizarla. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
