App worked at first but now every time I click on it it wants me to login again and verify the login, so the process takes about 5 minutes and only works half the time. That is not the only problem most annoying problem is trying to log on. You put in you info correct and it wouldn’t log on keep going back to the log in screen selection. Take several attempts to be able to log on!!!!! ### 1/5 — Waterford - Good, the app, HORRIBLE *2021-01-23, version 3.0.10* We like Waterford curriculum, but it is beyond me how this app could get released. It CONSTANTLY logs you out, then, it doesn’t remember your login info, or even give you a “remember me” selection. The app lags the child’s progress by several hours. So when your child asks “daddy am I done?” The answer will ALWAYS be “I don’t know.” I called the IT team at Waterford, but they are less than interested in any improvements. So, yeah, Waterford has helped, but the app is useless and cannot be relied upon. ### 1/5 — Need an app for upstart *2020-09-29, version 3.0.8* We’re on our third child with Upstart, and the program itself is great. However, we’ve learned that the assessments and activities are more accurate when our child is using an iPad because their skill level with a mouse is low. This works in a browser, but we’ve been asking about an app for years. PLEASE OFFER AN APP for the upstart program itself. Many parents/families would be able to be more consistent with the flexibility and functionality of an app. ### 1/5 — So many bugs *2020-04-28, version 2.3.0* The app is the only place to check your kids progress because the PC browser dashboard is always incorrect. I constantly have to retype the log in in the app, which never works the first time. I have to force close the app and log in a second time. Then if you scroll at all in the dashboard it gets stuck. You have to back out and go back into usage or trophy’s. This is so frustrating! Please fix it’s almost unusable ### 2/5 — Good but has a lot of tech errors *2025-10-22, version 5.0.0* My son uses this for school and so often on the pages the sound doesn’t work. So he has to solve the problem but with no instructions and no audio. I hope the developers can fix this especially knowing that my taxpayer dollars paid for this app that doesn’t really work ### 3/5 — Too much lagging *2020-09-30, version 3.0.8* As a teacher, when I go into the app to see my students’ progress, the lag between screens is definitely frustrating. It takes about three times longer to look at the data from the app as it does on my computer. Know that I was worried about his transition to Kindergarten. His daycare teacher told me about Upstart and I was curious to see if this was a good alternative. It was! My son has been so excited to get on the Upstart laptop and do his homework! He learns new things each day and the program goes through tests that help go over his problem areas. Our coach has also been very supportive and enthusiastic about his learning! Montiuna has been a great teacher to work with and I would recommend any preschool child to be introduced to Upstart before going to school. ### 5/5 — Waterford Mentor App *2022-01-24, version 3.2.4* I like that I can track his progress and help him reach his goals.
