It can adjust your goal based on the weather or any exercise you put in. Being able to change the reminder light and having achievements to unlock is nice too. I get the privacy concerns, but the user should be able to choose what data gets shared. This is a major drawback and significantly limits the usability of this device as a “smart” bottle. Please prioritize fixing this. ### 1/5 — יוני *2024-06-17* אכזבה אחת גדולה. לא שקניתי את הבקבוק במלוא מחירו המופקע, אך גם הסכום הזעום אותו שילמתי לא היה שווה זאת. לא הגיוני שהבקבוק לא מסתנכרן עם השעונים ועם אפליקציית Garmin connect (או כל אפליקציה ספורט אחרת), מה שהופך את הדיווח לכה מסורבל. הבקבוק כבקבוק איכותי ושומר על הטמפרטורה אך עדין מאוד, לא יציב כלל ובעל חיי סוללה שערורייתיים. כל עניין הדירוגים, והאפליקציה ככל, מצריכים עוד עבודה רבה. ובנימה אישית, מאז שרכשתי את הבקובוק אני שותה פחות. אכזבה :-( ### 2/5 — Was great until *2024-05-31* It was great, until I asked support why the app would get stuck trying to update the bottle’s firmware. They told me to reinstall the app. The bottle hasn’t been able to connect to the app since then. Support told me to reset the bottle. That didn’t help. Next they told me: “we see that your bottle is updated to the newest version and the issue has been resolved”. The issue isn’t resolved. I still can’t connect the bottle to the app. I haven’t heard from them in four days. ### 3/5 — The Bottle Not Widget *2025-01-22, version 4.8.3* The bottle works great. I average two days on the life of the battery top. The widget is incorrect. It needs an update ### 3/5 — Missing Apple Watch integration *2024-10-21* Missing Apple Watch integration means you can’t add this as a complication. Which means you can’t simply look at your watch to see how much you’ve had to drink. The app pairs with the bottle and things seem to be working as expected. Switching my rating to a tentative 4 stars and plan to update my review after more usage. ### 4/5 — Really good app for an awesome smart water bottle *2024-06-13, version 4.7.5* The smart water bottle is a great way to keep hydrated. I love the color play when I drink as well as the elaborate reminders. The app has a nice UI though in the iOS it is missing two major notable items: 1. A proper widget showing the amount of water hydrated today and allowing the user to manually add a cup (the streak is completely useless in my opinion) 2. An Apple Watch synced app and complications showing the hydration status and allowing adding manual water cups. ### 4/5 — Better after two weeks of problems *2024-06-05, version 4.7.2* It was great, until I asked support why the app would get stuck trying to update the bottle’s firmware. They told me to reinstall the app. Afterwards, the bottle wasn’t able to connect to the app for two weeks. There was a lot of back and forth with customer service. We eventually got it figured out. I’m a happy customer again. I need to track my hydration to prevent some health issues. I literally have to flavor it for it to be tolerable. But that has changed with this Water.io bottle and app. I’ve realized that when things are gamified on an app, I will do it because it holds you accountable. There is something that clicks in your brain when an app notifies you that you have reached a given goal. I’m so happy I’ve found this great bottle and accompanying app. It’s going to change my health dramatically. Thanks for making drinking water fun.
