## What is Waterpolo Clocks?

The Waterpolo Clocks App provides a complete Waterpolo Clock Console on a iPad or iPhone.

It separately provided synchronised Game Clocks and Shot Clocks that can be connected to an external display.

It also provided standalone Game and Shot Clocks for use during training.

The App has a number of modes of Operation:
      1) Master Clock Controller Mode.
      2) Slave Game Clock Mode.
      3) Slave Shot Clock Mode.

Has a Time Adjustment Dialog that allows:
   1) game and shot clock adjustment to 10ths of seconds.
   2) quarter adjustment.

A water polo game typically needs a Master Clock Controller, a Game Clock Display and two Shot Clock Display.

These can be provided by 4 instances of the App, each running on a separate device.

The Clock Console (Master Clock Controller) supports the following actions:
       (1). Starting the clock
       (2). Stopping the clock.
(3). Resetting the Shot Clock to 30s
(4). Resetting the Shot Clock to 20s
(5). Resetting the Game Clock within a quarter.
(6). Resetting the Quarter to 1.
(7). Configuring the Clock with the following attributes:
             (a) Away Team Name
             (b) How Team Name
             (c) If 'Running Time' supported
             (d) Number of 'quarter' periods.
             (e) Quarter Duration
             (f) Exclusion Timeout Duration
             (g) Quarter Time Duration
             (h) Half Time Duration
             (i) Normal Shot Clock Duration (nominally 30 seconds)
             (j) Short Shot Clock Duration (nominally 20 Seconds)
             (k) Number of Extra Time Periods
             (n) Duration of Extra Time.

The App uses the Local Network to communicate between the devices to synchronise the clocks.

it uses the Network API and Bonjour for communications, it supports up to 9 clusters of devices on a local network(ie subnet, connected to a WIFI router), with the clocks being independently synchronised within each cluster.
