Hopefully with the ease of integration more and more users will take the opportunity to provide crowd sourced information for anchorages and marinas! I hope and implore all Aqua Map users to actively provide updates to Waterway Guide through Aqua Maps! Let us all make both the invaluable tool for updated information while cruising. ### 3/5 — So frustrating! (Updated Review) *2022-06-04, version 2.0.2* Update (6/4/2022) The developer has reached out to me and explained how to get out of ‘library’ or ‘publication jail’ as I called it. The solution: Just make sure you select a free publication and then you’ll be able to navigate around. They were also interested in learning where I was having the quitting issue, and I supplied as much information as my fuzzy memory could, and will send them more information in the future as it happens. Changing my review to 3 stars and will revisit this review again after more use to see if the quitting issue is resolved. Original review: I have up to date OS and iphone 11, updated app, and it still quits constantly, and it still requires a restart to get out of ‘publication jail’ — probably not the experience you intended to deliver. You have great books though! ### 5/5 — Cuba Waterway Guide. *2022-05-23* I have been using the Cuba waterway guide and it’s been invaluable. From the how tos and tips on entry and how things work, to the details of each anchorage and harbour and passage has been incredible for planning. There really isn’t an alternative. So great having it digitally in an app and not just a hard copy or PDF. Love it. ### 3/5 — Great info if and when it starts *2022-01-20* Lots of great info available in it but the app is so flaky to start. It’s frustrating when you are trying to find info about an area quickly. Sometimes it starts quick and easy but that is very rare. Don’t waste your money on this guide, it’s fundamentally useless ### 1/5 — Buggy app *2024-03-06* Purchased the Bahamas Guide, but the app doesn’t seem to understand that and wants me to pick a title. Then the title is already purchased according to the app, so I cannot purchase it or select it. Please update! ### 1/5 — Worthless *2022-05-09* I’ve purchased a lot of apps, and this one might be great if I could use it, but from day one it’s been problematic. When I first purchased it, I could not access it, which required a chain of emails to gain access. Same problem now and when I try a password reset, it has no record of my email. Fortunately I only purchased one “book”, but I’m done. Not happy with app!🤬 ### 1/5 — Inaccurate & Unreliable *2022-04-25* App works 1/4 of the time… other times you can’t even log in. Super frustrating when on the water and looking for marinas. Also, loads of marinas are not even in the database. Errors such as transiate slips, pump outs, etc. are all real headaches when the app says the Marina has them but in fact they are physically not present. Paid and downloaded the Waterways add on for iNavX and it’s even worse than this app. Save your frustrations, time and money. **Developer response:** Hello Jomama40, We're very sorry to hear you had trouble with the app! Very flaky ### 1/5 — Not possible to subscribe to individual chapters *2022-04-06* I repeatedly tried to subscribe to chapters in the Southern guide to no avail. It reports that the subscription is successful and after 2 seconds I get a pop up message about not being able to find a receipt. When I try to access the chapters I bought, it displays that I don’t have any subscriptions. I tried to refresh the subscriptions within the app and restarting several times with no luck. Not even sure if I have been charged several times after the multiple attempts. **Developer response:** Hello orion-phi2, So sorry to hear about the troubles you encountered!
