You can’t scan the WR code because the app doesn’t even access the camera. There is not even QR code in the GE charging station for you to enter the station ID code. You simply cannot charge any car with this app and the charging station doesn’t even work or activate. I have not seen any worst EV charging station or charging app or charging card to activate charging at all. It is a joke. ### 1/5 — A really bad app support *2019-06-30, version 1.5* Look at the version history .. “4 years ago” for the last app updates... your company just wasting $$ to setup the charging station and no one can use.. no wonder ur buz is ending. ### 1/5 — Horrible app! *2019-06-10, version 1.5* I have to say, my experience is very similar to the other reviewer. This app is absolutely horrible. Download it it add a shopping center where there were multiple GE wattstation chargers, but the app does not allow you to attach a credit card, you have to go into the website, which is completely not mobile friendly, in order to attach a PayPal account, not a credit card, and that feature has not worked for three days now. On top of that, none of these chargers show up in the app. I mean I’m standing here looking at eight of them, and not one of them shows up as an option in the app. What complete and utter garbage. Yesterday I called the Support number, but surprise, it is only staffed during weekday business hours. To put people off of electric vehicles? I'm using a brand new iPhone 8, so what's the problem? ### 1/5 — The app make the service unusable *2018-06-08, version 1.5* I am going to join the chorus of voices pointing out that this app is effectively useless for what it intends to do. You cannot use this app to start charging at a GE WattStation. It’s fine at helping you find a station but once you get there it is simply impossible to start a charge. I am hopeful that someone at GE is monitoring this and will send a Beta team to try themselves and see that the app actually drives people away from their charging stations in favor of charging stations of other companies such as EVgo and Blink. It’s too bad too because I have two stations near my work and I would use them but can’t so I go elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Terrible app. Keeps crashing *2018-05-19, version 1.5* I couldn’t even register for the charge station. You should be ashamed. I know you were just an intern, but even high school programming classes teach better software skills than you demonstrated here. They need to fix this period. ### 1/5 — Abandoned by GE *2023-10-12, version 1.5* This app seems to be abandoned. I downloaded it to utilize a functional GE WattStation I found in a public charging zone. Thankfully - it turned out to be free because this app doesn’t even load anymore. ### 1/5 — Fully nonfunctional *2021-12-26, version 1.5* There is nothing about this app that supports its existence. You cannot locate charging stations and if by chance you find one, it is impossible to use it because it’s impossible to register for an account. I spent hours this afternoon trying to register but the captcha code that is required to register was never provided. If I could give this zero stars I definitely would. One star indicates that it serves even minimal functionality, which this app does not. End result: I was not able to charge the car, had to run it on gas. I thought highly of GE over the past 30 years but this just ended it all for me. GE is officially junk to me. Almost everything made in China is of much higher quality than this carelessly neglected price of trash. Except it doesn't keep me logged in after I've minimized it. That's all. I scan the code, click continue, then it gives an error and says I have to be logged in. So I log in - works on the first try every time - and it turns on the unit within a couple seconds. No problem. I'm in DFW, TX, if that means anything, charging at AT&T Stadium. Just got my FFE a few days ago and have only had to plug into 2 different locations. At the stadium I have to use the app, but the other one I just plug it in and it turns on automatically. If all I have to do is login every time because it never 'remembers' me, and it works this well the rest of the time, I'll be very happy. ### 3/5 — Ok *2014-05-08, version 1.3* Logs me out everytime I close it.
