## What is Wave Audio Editor?

AudioEditor is a simple but powerful audio editor for iPhone and iPad.

Record, cut, trim, split, move, and combine audio across multiple tracks. The waveform editor makes precise changes easy, while the landscape layout gives you more room for detailed work.

Clean up recordings with noise reduction, voice enhancement, normalization, compression, limiting, and automatic pause removal. You can also transcribe speech and remove words or phrases directly from the transcript.

Keep listening while using other apps or when your device is locked. Playback controls let you pause, seek, and switch between projects from the Lock Screen or Control Center.

Export your work as WAV, AIFF, CAF, FLAC, ALAC, AAC, M4R, or MOV. You can also create shareable videos with an animated waveform, timecode, and subtitles.

Buggy app that crashes on simple edits, with controls that do not follow any conventional standard. Not even alph software. Looks more like an explratory app of how to get something on the App Store. Just terrible.  Avoid.

Finally I managed to play an mp3 file, but there weren't any interfaces for editing. Deleted.

The app is definetly not designed for a good user experience. Nothing about the app is straight forward, leaving me to wonder if it actually does anything. One example of this is the fact that to open an audio file, you can't select File>Open, you have to select "Import" from inside the window. You can't move the playhead without using the tiny little "Play" button in the window, and selection of audio is a nightmare. I still have no idea what kind of algarithim it runs to select audio. Long story short, the app needs to be better designed for the user.
