FAQ

What does Wave Clean do?

Wave Clean is designed to remove dust, dirt, and water from your device's speaker. It utilizes sound waves at specific frequencies to vibrate the speaker, dislodging contaminants and improving sound quality. The app aims to be an effective and simple solution for common speaker issues.

How does the app clean the speaker?

The app generates sinusoidal sound waves ranging from 0 to 80 Hz. These sound waves cause the speaker to vibrate, which helps to shake off any dust or dirt that may be stuck inside. This process is designed to be over 80% effective in removing debris.

Is the app free to use?

The app offers a free version with basic cleaning functionalities. However, some advanced features, such as deeper cleaning options or specific sound wave types, are only available in the Premium Version. Users can opt for a subscription to access these enhanced features.

What are the important notes for using the app?

For optimal results, it's recommended to position your phone with the speaker facing downwards and turn the volume to maximum. Ensure that any connected headphones are disconnected before starting the cleaning process. Following these steps will help the sound waves effectively reach and clean the speaker.

Can this app fix a broken speaker?

This app is intended for cleaning dust, dirt, and water from your speaker, not for repairing physical damage. If your microphone is dirty, the app includes a test to help identify this issue, but it recommends contacting a specialized repair center for such problems. The app's effectiveness is based on removing debris that obstructs sound.
