Top, geowave très pratique, tout comme les friend group.
Malheureusement cela manque encore de stabilité: régulièrement dans le groupe un personne perdait la communication (en émission, la réception était ok, sur 3 cet événement nous ai arrivé au moins 1x chacun). 
Apres une coupure réseau GSM les reconnections automatique ne fonctionnait pas tout le temps.
Malgré cela, appli prometteuse / indispensable quand il y a plusieurs marques d’intercom dans groupe !

Haben mit drei Motorrädern und verschiedenen Intercoms die App eine Woche ausprobiert. Im Grunde eine gute App die jedoch noch stark verbesserungswürdig ist. Das Verbinden der einzelnen Intercoms funktioniert nur nach mehrmaligen Versuchen. Die Verbindungen reißen öfter ab und verbinden sich nicht mehr selbstständig. Eine automatische Verbindung über Bluetooth, wenn kein Internetempfang funktioniert auch nicht. Oft viele Störgeräusche

Die Idee an sich ist prima. Leider hapert es an der technischen Umsetzung. Die Latenz von bis zu 2 Sekunden wäre noch zu verschmerzen. Die plötzlichen Abbrüche der Verbindung, ohne dass diese wieder etabliert wird ist dagegen sehr kontraproduktiv. Die Distanz der Geräte betrug dabei nur maximal 150 m.

Es funktioniert super aber bitte langsam mal auf Deutsch stellen warten alle schon seid einem Jahr. Jetzt mit ki sollte das doch super schnell programmiert sein danke.

Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass es nicht damit getan ist, die App einmal zu starten, sondern man dann doch unterwegs immer mal wieder neu verbinden muss etc. Wäre es super, gäbe es die App endlich mal für CarPlay! Außerdem kann die Verbindung gerne stabiler werden…

This app would get at least 5+ stars if they would upgrade the app to run under CarPlay. With all the new bikes having the ability to have a CarPlay screen, this is truly essential where you don’t have to dig around for your phone.

Oft Verbindungsabbrüche … Neustart nicht während der Fahrt möglich, da man dazu die App öffnen muss und dazu das Handy aus der Tasche fummeln muss. (Nicht jeder fährt mit Handy Halter) Mein SENA 50C kann durch Doppelklick auf die Mesh Taste eigentlich Wave starten … ach ne, doch nicht es sagt dann nur „Bitte App öffnen“.
Und wenn man schon davon ausgeht dass jeder direkt mit Handy oder ähnlichem fährt, dann doch bitte auch CarPlay anbieten.

I had 3 friends with non Sena intercoms all install the Wave app and I created a friends wave. I have a spider ST1. Initially comms was good, and my non Sena friends were impressed because they didn’t previously ride with comms. However, too soon, comms was lost due to the network data signal being lost, and the only way to reconnect is within the Wave app. This isn’t safe to do while riding a motorcycle. It would be good if there was a facility to turn off automatic wave to mesh conversion meaning Wave remains connected or for wave to automatically reconnect to the friends Wave when the data signal is restored. I feel the feature update as mentioned will greatly improve safety and usability of the Wave app.

Tired it today with my brother-in-law for the first time. At first it was flawless using “Friends”, which I assume uses cellular. Stop for lunch, and after that we parted ways to head to our homes. Constant break ups in communication, and disconnects. When we finally felt we had a solid connection we left..

Within a 1.5 km separation we could no longer hear each other or even reconnect after that.  I have a 50R and he has an older SENA device.

What could the issue be? Plus I keep reading you can use voice commands in Wave….HOW???

I have the latest iOS updates and the latest app update. I use a SENA helmet and I use this app to communicate with my friends when I am out riding. Yesterday when I was trying to connect, I had fully charged battery by the way and helmet and it said that the intercom was down however, it was working just fine for all my friends, please fix this!

Hard pass on this app. Am sure the functionality is great. But…if the product is free, you are the product. 
How about selling the product to us with the helmet i bought and not scrape my data at the same time?!
Will enjoy the helmet without this.

We eventually got a test connection going where we could tell the other person was there, but it was so scratchy (over 5G) we decided to abandon the app. Even if we had persevered, it would be impractical to use while riding with the additional background wind noise as well. 

The UI is not intuitive either. 

Giving one star feels generous. 

But at least it’s free! So no harm done.

Read the privacy policy. For an app that has live location, live mic, and creates a network of your friends… they are going to harvest a lot of your information (and are willing to cooperate with law enforcement as stated in the privacy policy.) Some incriminating audio and gps positioning data of you and the homies, provided by them to law enforcement (without a warrant) could make a difference in court. In a sport where folks are typically ahead of the average speed, use discord and make a private group connected to your helmet via bluetooth. It works great and is way more private if you want voice chat with your friends over cellular.

Leider hatten wir in der Gruppe häufige Probleme mit der Verbindung, so das wir immer ran fahren mussten um neu in die Gruppe zu gehen. 
Das traurigste ist das andere Headset Hersteller eine bessere Verbindung haben als mit einem Sens Spider RT1. 
Die Integration für CarPlay wäre noch super so könnte man während der Fahrt noch Leute einladen oder sich neu verbinden mit der Gruppe.

Able to connect two sena units relatively easily but the sound quality is just non existent. A nice idea but in practice it doesn’t work. Ended up going back to pairing two units the old fashioned way

Very unreliable wether in good reception area or not. Audio quality is ok between some riders and shockingly bad between others. 
It’s in principle a great idea and would solve cross manufacturer connections and the ability to connect over an unlimited distance would be really useful, unfortunately the reality is very poor and needs major improvement to the app to make it worthwhile even trying again in the future.
To summarise it promises but fails to deliver even a basic function.

Sobald man auf das Bluetooth Symbol klickt um über den Helm zu kommunizieren ist die Sprachausgabe abgehakt und nicht mehr verständlich. So ist die App nicht zu gebrauchen.

Bonjour, envisagez vous une version supportant CarPlay ? J’utilise CarPlay sur la moto et de ne plus avoir à manipuler le téléphone est un vrai confort, l’écran CarPlay est plus lisible, fonctionne avec la commande au guidon ou les gants.

This app is off to a great start. It could be a game changer for motorcycle communications. Apple CarPlay should be added. Support vehicles would greatly benefit from that integration.

I already ride with a SENA but some of my friends don’t, and now that doesn’t matter, we can still communicate with Wave. Communication clarity is good and the device and distance restrictions are now a thing of the past. I mostly ride around the city and reception is great!  5 stars!
