Just wish it could go landscape so you could see more of the headline without having to open every article to find out what it’s about, which is tedious. ### 3/5 — Noisy App *2026-05-22, version 8.0.5* Very noisy app!! Every time it updates it plays a theme tune, all hours of day and night!! Just see the advertisement and the message “Connection Issue We’re having trouble accessing the internet. If you are on Wi-Fi, please try changing to a mobile connection and try again.” Does it on WiFi and mobile data. ### 3/5 — App with live stream *2024-06-11* I like this app but for some reason, when I stream the morning news, the stream does not have pip (picture-in-picture) capabilities with my iPhone. IE, when I switch to another app while streaming, the video stream simply stops. In emergency situations when you just want to watch the news live all you get are commercials. The WDRB TV app has a much better user experience. The WAVE TV app is not worth the download. ### 1/5 — This is a terrible app! *2024-05-27* Wave TV is a fantastic local station. But who ever designed this app needs to find a new job. When you open the app you don’t get a welcome or even a notice saying this is Wave. No, you get full page advertisement trying to sell you something. Why don’t you look at the WHAS News 11 app or every other news app in the world and see if they have a freaking advertisement when you open them. That plus the app is so disorganized that it looks like a kid put it together. You open it and get an ad. You click a news story and again are forced to watch yet another ad. So I am deleting this app and will stick to other news apps that do not force you to watch an entire pointless video that I have zero interest in. You can’t skip the ads at all. This new version is awful ### 1/5 — Watch live, prior news cast feature is a bust. *2026-04-27* You select watch live and you get all the ads. So annoying. If you touch the screen and reload, all the ads reload. App Prior version much better. The screen for prior shows also does not load - and this defaults to non local options. It has a constant red 1 on it, like it has a an alert, and it also toggles back from the new logo to the old logo and stays there. I’m quite good at that. I have watched the 7:00 pm news on Friday for 10 minutes and have already seen two mistakes. Someone couldn’t even spell Kentucky and Dawn Gee did a weather story on Cabo “Sam” Lucas instead of “San”. Not only was it pronounced wrong, also spelled wrong across bottom of screen. For being my favorite news station, sad with these mistakes. Now I’m having trouble because all the nicknames I’m trying to use have all been taken.
