Haven’t won any of the giveaways yet but many reviewers say that have it’s legit, so I assume I just haven’t been lucky enough yet. It’s still fun to use. However, there are a few minor issues with the app. For instance- about a month ago they introduced a weekly arcade contest where the top scoring players win cash. It’s fun and an exciting way to engage in the app and they really paid out the cash prizes. I figured it might not be a long lasting and sustainable thing, and sure enough, they seemed to have changed the contest from cash prizes to token prizes. The only issue I have with this is they changed it mid week and in the middle of an ongoing contest with no warning. This doesn’t seem fair to those who spent time playing all week thinking they were competing for a cash prize that now suddenly doesn’t exist. There’s no effective notification system in the app to let you know of changes and what they are. I think a better way to handle that would have been to maybe lower the cash prizes over the course of time instead of going from a $500 prize pool to nothing in an instant. There also should have been an advance notification this was happening and should have come at the start of a new contest cycle. They also introduced a daily challenge and then it too seemed to be gone within a day. With sudden changes like this, it makes the app seem unreliable and volatile. There could also be better notification and communication systems within the app itself. A weekly or daily update board or mail system, a chat support area. Things like this. Another minor issue is that it’s hard to see the amount of tokens you’ve earned and the giveaways you’ve entered. There is a tab for it in the app, but half the time it doesn’t seem to work for me. The earned tokens area is often empty when I have earned things and things will appear and disappear from there. When I check the giveaways entered tab, it’s not organized or clear as well as it could be, and when I see my number of entries for things, those numbers don’t always seem consistent and change. My entries for one thing went from 860 to 870 to 830 to 800 in the span of me checking over the course of an hour… and I had entered more times, only to see the numbers on this jump both up and then down. So I’m not sure if all my entries are even being counted and registered correctly. I would hate to be using tokens on what I think are entries, but then they’re not even registered. These are aspects I feel could be improved, but other than that it’s a generally fun and good app. ### 2/5 — Terrible Changes, no warning *2025-09-13, version 4.4* Why did you push back all of the prize drawing dates? And then suddenly change the leaderboard to just coins and no cash. Used to like, but changes are horrific. An hour later, a really sweet team leader called me through FaceTime, to tell me what I won, then texted me to give my address to deliver the prize. I was shocked and grateful. You are not wasting your time playing wave. It’s sincerely the Best! Just won $50 on the Weekly Leaderboard and couldn't believe how smooth the whole process was. The money hit my Venmo account literally the day after the giveaway ended - no waiting around or jumping through hoops. What really stood out was how friendly and professional the team member was who reached out to congratulate me on the win. It was personal, not an automated message. You can tell they actually care about their players. The games themselves are fun, easy to play and just take a few minutes including playing and watching a short video commercial. I love that it's so easy to earn tokens just by playing, which you can then use to enter different prize pools. It doesn't feel like you're constantly being asked to spend money, which is refreshing for a mobile game. If you're looking for a legit way to potentially win some cash while having fun, definitely give Wave a try. Cannot login in the app anymore, account does not exist and cannot even reset the password. I even tried Google Login and just gets stuck infinitely. Looks like this company shutdown or turned scam. I update the app and my phone but no luck. Very disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend unless this can be fixed. Overall, if you want to waste your time playing lots of games with constant ads to earn coins, this is for you.
