Half the audio seems to cut in and out. Stops working as soon as you touch the volume control. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Battery hog *2026-01-26, version 2.11.0* Installed app in order to be prepared for upcoming meeting in a room with Willams AV WaveCast audio service. Found the app insists on searching for a server burning battery for no reason. No way to tell it to wait for me to tell it to search. This app crashes 9 out of 10 times you want to use it. Even when typing in the IP address of the server it still will not connect. UPDATE !! *2025-02-03, version 2.11.0* You must update the firmware on your transmitter before this updated app will work. You also need a WAVEcast transmitter (PP T55) and I ended up adding a standalone router ( Linksys MR7500 ) for the audio. So far it is working as expected but time will tell. ### 4/5 — Discovers Audio Channel by IP ONLY *2023-01-22, version 1.9.0* The latest update on apple app improved previous latency issues we had. However, the option of discovering channels by IP address has rendered automatic finding by name. It will only discover them if the IP address is entered. Giving out the wavecast server IP is not an option in our environment!
