This practice is bias and being ended in the industry. Hiring mgrs see you as either too young or old based on their own values based on age. The practice must be eradicated from resumes and applications. Also post the salary or slap professionals in the face as they try to track you down to learn that information. ### 3/5 — Good Idea In Theory *2021-11-10, version 3.14* Good concept, and sounds ideal on paper. The app makes it fairly easy to apply for jobs. However, no one ever replies to chat or even send an email when you apply for a job. I also find that if I do apply for a position, I won’t get a “application received” email until weeks after the fact. Like I said, good concept and my hat’s off to the developers. But it’s disappointing when the main draw of the app (communication with prospective employers) doesn’t seem to happen. ### 1/5 — Just another crap *2021-10-31, version 3.14* It pulls job posts through api so the employees may never know about your messaging here. ### 1/5 — Be careful *2021-08-23, version 3.11* So far I’ve seen a few posts that once I’ve reached out the actual company, I find out the job posting isn’t from them. Most recently, COCONCLEAN in COlorado appeared to post a position for remote customer service. After looking up the company I found out they were in Colorado but the posting said the office was in San Francisco. So I called the company directly and confirmed that the posting was not real as I couldn’t see how it would make sense to hire Californians for Colorado tasks. Most people in California aren’t even from here and barely know anything about California let alone Colorado. You’ve been warned. I’ve had several colleagues try it to see if it was just me + it has been nothing but a waste for all of us. ### 1/5 — Do not bother *2021-07-13, version 3.08* This app is a joke. There is nothing simple or easy about job hunting with this app because no one will respond to your inquiries!! I have thrown my resume out to many employers and sent many introductory messages asking for more information and to express my interest and all I get are crickets. I had only one person respond with little enthusiasm and then he ghosted me. This job market is already extremely difficult, advertising an app that makes “hiring easy” is misleading and absolutely false, and it is very upsetting that you are taking advantage of peoples hopes to find work who are struggling such as myself. The reviews also look fake as of to promote the app with stellar reviews. Please do everyone a favor and BE BETTER!! ### 2/5 — Love the concept, poor execution *2021-05-01, version 3.03* The app is very glitchy I can’t even finish my profile. Thank you for your patience. ### 1/5 — Broken app, spam emails, no responses from employers *2022-05-10, version 4.5* I’ve applied for over 50 jobs using Wavely and none of them have reached out to me, none of them even viewed my profile or resume. Not to mention, Wavely advertised all remote jobs and I had to filter by remote just to find the remote jobs. After I applied, I received FIVE OF THE SAME EMAIL PER JOB as an automated message thanking me for applying. So 50 job applications, and Wavely sends me a confirmation 5 times per job, so that’s over 250 spam emails at once! Then when I message the online chat assistant for help nobody responds, not even the bot. Maybe fix the egregious bugs in your app before releasing it to the public. 0 stars! **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! Sorry for this inconvenience. The same jobs have been posted since I got it a month ago and the jobs aren’t even what I represented I wanted. It kept the next screen greyed out so I couldn’t move forward despite there only being 4 sections to fill and two were my name and one was my city so I know I filled it all out.
