The app tells me that I don’t have any waves locations nearby. The map doesn’t work and I can’t see any menu items to mobile order. Junky and doesn’t work, deleted right away.

This app takes forever to load!!! It’s faster for me to walk or drive to the location and order in person than it is to order on the app. I’ve tested this 3 times! What takes so long?

The app doesn’t work at all on a tablet, can’t log in, check balance or points. Website now also useless—just directs you to an app that doesn’t work. A high schooler could do better than this developer, who apparently doesn’t test their app.

The app will automatically charge you a dollar for adding a credit card. ALSO it won’t even accept online payments you gotta do it at the counter anyways. Not helpful

App keeps adding a regular coffee instead of discounting the only drink I added to my cart. Every time I do mobile ordering, I have to travel to locations where mobile ordering works which aren’t always near my current location.

P.S. Unless app uses app-exclusive features/functions such as Core NFC or Safari iOS extension, the app must be replaced with web app (e.g. see Progressive Web App (PWA)) so I have more space on my phone while account info is consistently synced across my devices. Website currently doesn’t automatically redirect me to the app when I select the online ordering option/link/button.

You’d think someone at Waves would be savvy enough to let people use the app without first creating an account. What if I just want to find a location near me? Or browse their products and see if there’s something I might want to buy?

Missed opportunity.

When I received the “Redis server went away” error multiple times, Rewards card would not load despite ideal internet connection. If app supports Apple Wallet for Rewards card at least, then in-person scanning would not be an issue. Apple Wallet requires iOS 10+ while the app requires iOS 11+ so anyway, might as well add Wallet support to the app so every user can store their Rewards and Coffee cards in their Apple Wallet and use them in-person at Waves shops. Ideally, the app should also support Apple Pay so there is another way to collect Rewards when in-app Rewards card cannot load.
