Once you get the hang of it, it works *great* — it was just what I needed: - I downloaded the map for offline use because I wouldn’t have signal - I viewed the map looking for shallow spots to be ready for - I entered boat draft and expected avg speed - I manually entered routes, and then looked at the time estimates - And then I watched my progress along the routes live as I boated. This app removes a lot of anxiety for me as a minimally experienced boater. The charts are so easy to read and the autorouting is phenomenal. I’ve tried all the nav apps out there and this is the closest thing to actually having Google Maps on the water! I also love all the community points and seeing other Wavve app users on the water, it really has started to feel like a community. I also need to say that their customer support is the best I’ve ever interacted with. They are so friendly and get back to you right away. I must have hit the wrong button and mistakenly ordered an annual subscription for $69.99 plus tax. When I contact Wavve and explained the situation they offered me a full refund without question. The app is great, but I only have a small 14 ft boat for crab and prawn fishing and generally I am not more than 2 kilometres away from the dock . ### 5/5 — This is a mistake. *2026-05-08, version 5.7.3* All I wanted was to see how the Wavve ap worked, but somehow you were able to charge me for a year subscription through Apple Pay. I never requested a subscription or approved the payment. I am sure you were offering some sort of free trial, that is what caught my interest. Why would I order this, I only have a 14ft boat I use only for shrimping and crabbing and I am never more than a 4 kilometres away from the dock. Plus I don’t put the boat in the water until the end of June for 4 months.
