### 4/5 — Love this game, but are you going to fix it?

This is my favorite Apple Arcade game. But since the last update it crashes every time on this one level. So frustrated! I have contacted support and they no longer reply to my emails. Please update with a fix! I paid for a year of Apple Arcade so I could play this game. 
Update- It has been fixed! I have finished the game a few times. Still has a few small glitches, but way better than before the last update. I love the cute characters! It’s challenging, but not so hard that I can’t get it. I am able to master it after trying for awhile. Thanks!
BTY - I think that there was a hint of a a sequel at the end. Maybe? 😁🙏🏻❤️🐢🐢

So I love the game but for the first time I made it to the volcano and when I do the lever and the mini boss thing starts and I try to kill the first enemy the game just kicks me off and I have to start the mini boss all over again and it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO frustrating and plz fix other than that I love the game.

I love way of the turtle since I first played it. It is an excellent game I hope 🤞 you get this game. Unfortunately, I have already passed through a big bug. Before, when you didn’t update the game,there was no glitch.  I can freely play but there is now. I’ll tell you. So when you’re playing this game I want to explore a dark version of the island, tap on the game and it will immediately cut off. I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ why but it sure is a huge glitch. illusion labs please fix this or I will delete your game. Nope 👎 not forever ♾ you said you polished the game and fixed some bugs you added one ☝️ glitch! That’s totally unfair why would you do that? 😭 Now you’re restricting all the players please respond to this review now. Or I will get the glitch fixed by myself. you know game should  Be fixed or I have a great 😊 inspiration or your bug will kill the game. I’m so sorry 😣 for being a little mean 😢 😈and a little like some scary 😦 😟 😧 edition of a way that I am telling rest of you I am very sorry 😞 please ignore the scary 😧 parts and please read the others. once again please fix this glitch. I like this game, it’s really cute but I have had twice a glitch of when I launch again my game, the turtle is stuck in the air and I can’t do anything and even when I restart the game, the glitch is still here. The first time was okay because I’ve just started the game but the second time, I was pretty far…. I don’t want to restart it from the start…

I really like this game , but it can be confusing as you have to figure out how to get to certain areas to get everything on a certain level. This means that you may have to use one shell to defeat enemies and then switch to a different shell to push a button. For me, it’s still fun trying to figure it all out. Also, it is very glitchy. At one point I was ready to just un-install. It was after you get all three flames lit and you have to enter the volcano gate. The purple spirit thing would laugh and then nothing would appear until I spun or prodded it somehow and then once defeated them all the camera zoomed like another set of enemies were fixing to spawn but nothing happened but also nothing changed to where I could walk across so I walked back to the purple spirit thing trying to get it to trigger and eventually things did appear randomly. It went on like this for awhile and it was like I was just stuck in limbo. I tried again the next day and everything finally worked right, but I’ve experienced more glitches like this further along in the game. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m in the newer add on content now or what. Overall I think it’s worth playing, but you really have to be a patient person.

So like I said it’s great ! But the story is poorly written!The gameplay was awesome. I love the 3D animation (except the turtles). I think the worst world is “Road of the Wilderness “. But my favorite world is either “The climb” or “Gopher beach”. My problem is when you rescue all the gophers you don’t get a reward which is crazy!😡 Oh and the movement of the characters is soooooooooooo lazy! And when it says “to be continued” at the end of gooey stew, you should definitely update it with a new plot and new worlds so we can have some fun after the final battle. So final thoughts: Pretty good but work on the animation,story and update it after the battle with a new menace!

Very fun game, not too hard to get into but provides some excellent platforming challenges later on. Highly recommend for an experience similar to the Crash Bandicoot games.
A few bugs prevented me from giving this a full five stars, the final boss has some major bugs that make it a chore to finish, platforms despawn at the wrong times, or won’t spawn at all. Another major bug I ran into was while collecting all the shards I missed, I found that one in Magma Ridge is unobtainable upon revisiting the level, locking me out of completion. It also doesn’t show up on the map, that area is checked off for shards.

I’m having lots of fun playing this game . The issue I’m having is sometimes when I’m trying to jump he doesn’t jump and causes me to die Instead. Idk if it’s because of my screen but my screen is clean I have no scratches or cracks on it, also when I’m trying to jump at the right time cuz it’s all about timing, instead he does a turn and causes me to die again. I know we can probably use a controller for a better experience but this is a mobile game and I should still be able to enjoy it using just my phone. That’s all I have to say.

It’s like that classic blue hedgehog game but with a turtle and less stuff to collect (thankful). Really good platformer with a shell switching puzzle element where you unlock new abilities that expand the cute 3D island world as you explorer.

The touch controls on the iPad aren’t great so my guess is this plays better with a controller. My little turtle went into the lava or spikes so many times due to unregistered taps. The turtle walks automatically so unless you encounter a wall you fall constantly. While frustrating the game has many save points so you don’t have to replay the challenging parts too many times.

Despite a few glitches where moving elements of the world didn’t reset I found it pretty entertaining. The graphics are top notch, colorful and smooth with lots of nice details, thumbs up to the art department. 

I would like to see a difference in the characters, the girl and boy turtle play the same so other then finding all the hidden items there is no reason to replay the levels.

All in all I found it an enjoyable adventure 🐢👍🏼🏝🌋

### 4/5 — Issues in Lava level right after level 2 blue shell

There is something wrong with the game. My daughter has been playing this game and I couldn’t figure out why she could not go back into the lava level after she gets the level 2 blue shell. She was stuck and decided to start over. When she got to the same place and died it spawns you and the check point but you can go back into the level because of the lava. Are we missing something or is something wrong with that level?

Both my son and I loved playing this game, and were super jazzed to play the new levels and pick up where we left off, but the game started fresh - not the end of the world - and we’re not able to save progress - which is the end of the world, ha ha ha. 

I’m sure y’all are figuring this issue out, and we can’t wait to play again once it’s resolved. Just wanted to chime in and say that we’re also experiencing the issues brought up by the other players.

I love the game and all but I just got out of the volcano and I looked on my map to see where I was at and it teleported me to the main place on the map and I continued on but I finished all the tentacles but one and the last one is in the mountain valley and it won’t let me go back I’m sooooooo mad 😡 😱 and before all this I used to play on my dads phone which is mine now and when I erased the phone I kept my Apple Arcade ID and when I downloaded the app again it was gone I’m sooooo mad😤😡 I was almost to the end on my other game I will give 5 stars if it is fixed plus a good review but until then I will not play this game again I’m soooo angry 😤

I love this game so fun and addictive! But on the third chapter when I got to the volcano entrance my iPad went dark! I have no idea how to get the game to work again. I have tried updating my iPad but it still doesn’t work. I have read the comments and a lot of other people are having the same issue. I really, really love this game and I hope now that you have enough comments to fix the glitches. Have a nice day goodbye!

Just paid for this apple arcade because I really wanted to play this game and after playing it I love it but it started glitching once or twice here and there and just kick me out of the game and now I started playing as the girl turtle and I cant even play 5 minutes and boom it kicks me out completely, what the heck!? I hope this is an issue they are aware of and working on it because I really want to continue playing.

This game gets two stars entirely because of how cute it is. I was bored with the game within minutes due to how slow and simple the gameplay is in a genre that has been done to death by this point, but I played more simply because of how charming the graphics and style of the game is. If you haven’t already played a few dozen of these sort of auto scrolling games you might find this one to be a blast. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I want to give this game a 5 stars because I love playing so much. It’s really fun and I love the characters. However, after waiting months for new levels, the release of the last level is extremely difficult to the point where it feels impossible. There are no save points, so you keep dying multiple times over and over again. It got too irritating to keep playing. So until there are save points added to the new challenge, I can’t  continue playing.

I have been invested in this game for a long time and have been very patient with glitches and updates, but this latest is unbearable. I already unlocked all 5 tentacles but it still says I haven’t done one in Bleak Coast and won’t let me move forward. I’ve reset my progress and have started the game all over twice. About to delete and give up.

I love this game it is fun and engaging and kind of puzzling which I like. I like having to figure out how to get to a certain area but the game is super glitchy. The turtle will get stuck in certain spots or move super slow. I finally got passed a spot in the moon tower but now I died and the blue door I just opened to fight the little laughing purple guy is closed and no matter what I do I cannot get it open again. Makes me sad that I may have to delete this game bc I cannot proceed and don’t want to start over from the beginning of the game again. Developers please help if you can!!!

This platformer is pretty good for what is. Controls are pretty simple and responsive. Graphics don’t show too many glitches. 
The problem is that this game is for probably the youngest players. It’s just too simple to make it worth the tome for anybody who wants anything complex or original. It’s just walk left, right, duck and stay in place, jump, double jump. 

Get it for kids but don’t waste time on it if you’re experienced player of mobile games.

I really enjoyed this game and was so excited when I saw that new levels were released. So, I updated the app. Ever since I updated it, however, the game won’t load. It will say that it is syncing with the cloud for hours(I actually left it to load for hours while doing something else). I would greatly appreciate it if this could get fixed. It is the only reason I haven’t given the game 5 stars.

I love this game so much and very happy to have stumbled upon it. However I have come across a glitch. I cannot reopen game to play. I am stuck at the "boss" in gopher island. Once it goes through the opening sequence to resume, it gets stuck on a black screen. I would love to keep playing! Please fix this! 😩🙏🏼

This game is very good. It has a great story though not spoken that much. It has great enemies and characters. There are bugs but they are not that common. I wish it had a little bit more of a ending after destroying the boss. I feel it has a abrupt end. Overall a really good game. Can’t wait for the sequel or prequel or a new update.

I really enjoyed this game so much! I love the graphics, the missions, everything about this game was amazing! I’m so sad I beat the game already though. Took me a few weeks playing on and off but I eventually won and beat the gooey stu! When will there be new worlds and rescue missions? I really hope you guys update this game soon!!

I could have sworn I’d already reviewed this, but I guess not. 
This game is the only reason I had Apple Arcade, it’s such a fun little game. It manages to be interesting and difficult without being impossibly frustrating. Since I’ve run through the entire game twice, I’ve unsubscribed from Arcade but I’ll sub again once it’s updated. 
Developers, do you guys have an eta on an update past the final volcano boss? I’m eagerly awaiting it.

Soo I enjoy this game, good graphics and good storyline, but I’ve had to start over multiple times to try and fix a glitch that just ends up happening again. The glitch is that I’ll die, and when I start over, suddenly my shell doesn’t work. Says no ability. If I go back to a checkpoint, it doesn’t give me the option to switch shells anymore. Thus I have to start AGAIN and hope it doesn’t happen again. This last time it happened and I died, when I came back I had the plain original shell and still no option to change shells.

This has everything you want in a game.
The graphics rotate and it doesn’t feel linear. You switch between 3 shells, each with a special ability. A beautifully immersive world is home to this amazing game and it holds true to every promise it makes.

Also I just cleared Lava Lair and hope that it really is to be continued. Please.

For the devs: I’m having trouble with the pre-volcano area. I hit the switch and nothing happens. I go in and out, the bridge sinks...with me on it, poofs me back to checkpoint. Bridge is still sunk. Walk into the lava again and Bridge is back but I am at 1 ❤️ and have a hard time. Help?

Also could you add more ways to use coins; I am frequently at max ❤️s, ruling out the soda. I am not a completionist, meaning I do not get all the gophers and have no use for candy. I dislike items like the Candy and Gizmo due to them practically cheating. And now I am a millionaire with nothing to buy!
Also in the Molten Respite the dude says he has new stuff but doesn’t.

Absolutely loved this game and I am looking forward to the next update!  If I had one complaint it would be that I couldn’t save after defeating the final boss so I expect that I will have to do it again when an update comes out.  But no biggie.

I love this game!  Once I started I wanted to keep playing until I finished the game.  There was a problem when I entered the gate at the end of chapter 3.  When I lose the battle and it returns me to outside the gate I cannot start back over without freezing up and sinking into the lava then I have to fall into the lava and use up my stars before I can go in and start the battle like the very first time I entered.  I also have enough for 5 hearts yet it hardly ever gives me 5.  And the map would be great if we could go to each dot not just the general area.  So hope you keep adding chapters!

I was very skeptical of paying the money for Apple Arcade because it was very very new when I took a leap and tried it for free. I finished the game in 2 days and was so excited for more! I can definitely say this game has been fun to play and I can’t wait for the next update!!

Love you guys and don’t want to leave 1 star for a great game, but I redownloaded the game in order to play the new content, and my save was completely gone. I tried completely signing out of my iCloud account and signing back in, but that did not work.

Update: My save has been recovered with the new update! Can’t wait to play the new levels!
