### 5/5 — The road less traveled reveals a one of a kind experience.

*2026-06-24*

Aqeel is, in my opinion, one of the most exciting music plugin developers.

The plugins they produce are rich, deep, and powerful but with simplicity at the forefront, it’s only through deeper exploration that one discovers how exploratory these tools can be.

Aqeel also has very well done and through videos on YouTube that are invaluable and well explained!

Plugins often miss a few things. But he doesn’t. These apps have utility, function, low dsp usage, innovative, stylish, and a manual is available on his website (which is also quite nice) - did I mention how nice they are to look at? Bottom of the most important checklist of what’s needed but a welcome checkbox to check and he knocks it out of the park.

Watching his development over a couple years has been a treat and each iteration / new release reveals a person finding / honing their development skills in a world where many others are taking shortcuts for a quick buck.

The road less traveled reveals the often sought out for, but often missed, master of their craft.

### 5/5 — Exceptionally Deep Midi Sequencer

*2026-05-28*

Do yourself a favor and pick this sequencer up if you have any interest in creating interesting generative music. You can really go into so much detail once you start combining different types of sequencers and utilities in intricate chains. Aqeel make some of the best musical apps on iOS and desktop in my opinion. He does very detailed tutorials on his YouTube channel as well if you ever want to see how to master these tools of creativity. Check out his effects and the Outgrowth sample instrument he released most recently. None of them disappoint and every single one of them is worth well more than the money you’ll spend. S tier!

### 5/5 — Best and most flexible sequencer

*2025-11-14*

This is the most amazing sequencer I have seen see it is so versatile and full of surprises. I cannot recommend it enough!

### 5/5 — Excellent sequencer

*2025-09-20*

All round excellent creative tool, and with the addition of exporting as MIDI in 1.0.5 just became even better. Waymaker is capable of some really inspiring stuff, not the easiest to dive straight into (for my brain) but once you get stuck in and learn it there’s so many possibilities.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2025-08-16*

This has quickly become my favorite sequencer (perhaps of all time?!!). It’s super flexible and does more than I can currently imagine. I can’t wait to see where I can take it or where it takes me in the future.

Thanks for making such a cool app and for the helpful video tutorials 😎

### 5/5 — Great seq./mod. abilities! 1 @ time only tho?

*2025-08-11*

Anyone please do correct me if I’m wrong, aye?

I’ve been having a blast learning how to use one of the most capable MIDI sequenvers that I’ve owned since 1987. There is, SO much available to learn … or not! 😀 You can choose!

My biggest look fir at the mo’ tho’ in i-OS?

The ability to have the Probability function available (under which ever name) that also allows you the chance of extra notes to Prob. occur, in between your chosen note length, per bar.
Just finishing a wonderful 1 hour instructional video from the designer, I did not see that ability mentioned or, the most important to me:

- the ability to have more than 1 x Waymaker, running AT the same time, in AUM! 😞

I worked towards that today through MiRack (latest) inside of AUM, with:

- 2 x Waymakers each on their own MIDI channel (in AUM as well)

- 2 x MIDI inputs available to each their own monophonic voices on their assigned MIDI channels

Nada. Waymaker # 1 were playing through, all of the time, allowed.

Waymaker # 2’s notes were ONLY heard at the same time on # 1’s assigned instrument, along WITH # 1’s notes.

# 2’s notes never dud play back on the instrument connected to # 2. (The same model of synth as # 1’s as well as a different synth, were tried.

Now, there have been multi-MIDI channel bugs in MiRack for awhile.

I’m open to suggestions / corrections! ☺️

🫡✌🏼✌🏽everyone. 🇨🇦

P.S. Outside of that? Waymaker _IS_ a keeper! Power I’ve wanred for years in co-generating! 🤩🥰

### 5/5 — Not an ordinary sequencer.

*2025-05-24*

I bought this app recently and it was worth it. This does more than any ordinary sequencer.

### 5/5 — Great Midi Tool

*2025-05-17*

Very useful, unique and fun midi tool!
Great Dev that is very responsive to the needs of musicians! I have all of his apps!

### 5/5 — A must have for serious sequencer users

*2025-05-10*

Ever wanted to sequence your sequencers? Now you can. This is a fantastic bundle of 11 sequencers/manipulators/utilities you can arrange in modular fashion to create what are practically custom MIDI devices. If you work with MIDI and/or sequencers a lot, you should probably grab this.
