## What is Wayo?

Wayo is a pedometer for everyday steps and a walking journal for routes, photos, and trips you want to keep.

Connect Apple Health to see today's steps and weekly trend at a glance. When you want to record a walk, hike, city stroll, or trip, tap Track. Wayo keeps the route, steps, distance, photos, and notes together—and lets you turn the finished journey into a poster.

DAILY STEPS, WITHOUT STARTING A TRIP

See today's total and weekly trend on Home. Browse your history by week, month, or year, then open any day to view its steps and saved journeys. Daily totals come from Apple Health, so there is nothing to start just to count steps.

RECORD A ROUTE IN ONE TAP

Tap Track to begin. Walk and take photos as usual—Wayo organizes the route, steps, distance, elevation, stops, photos, and notes into one journey card. Walking, running, cycling, driving, and hiking can be separated into activity segments. When typing is inconvenient, on-device voice transcription helps you save a quick note.

MAKE A JOURNEY POSTER

Choose a template, swap photos, edit the text, then save or share. You can also adjust the layout, crop, filters, route details, and activity information. Multi-day trips can become a swipeable poster series, organized by day and saved in My Posters for later editing.

RECOVER OLD TRIPS FROM PHOTOS

Choose older photos and Wayo uses their time and location information to reconnect the outing. A multi-day trip can be organized day by day. You choose the photos, what to keep, and how the journey comes together.

RELIVE MEMORIES AND LIGHT UP CITIES

Days with journeys light up with their photos and route colors. Memories brings back moments from this day in past years, while cities you have visited gradually light up on the map. Revisit journeys from each place—without streaks or pressure to fill every day.

LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN

Routes, photo content, Health data, voice transcription, and saved voice-note audio are handled or stored on your device by default. Wayo requires no account and provides no cloud sync. With your consent, Wayo may send device-linked usage and diagnostic data, plus city-level place names, dates, step and route summaries, and internal App identifiers. Photo content, detailed addresses, and complete GPS point sequences are not uploaded. See the Privacy Policy for the full scope.

When you save or share an automatically generated poster, the current work is preserved first and remains available in My Posters.
