I first tried it at a state park to make sure I made it to the right parking lot after some winding paths. Then at a very busy store with a huge parking lot...worked like a charm. I can see this being useful at large events or theme parks where you want to rendezvous with your group. Sure, a maps app can be used for that as well, bit there's so much extra junk/data.
