Fox 45 apparently has not hired anyone to keep the app up to date on Saturday or Sunday! Chris and his Project Baltimore is the best thing in that great wasteland of local news in Baltimore. I wanted to hear Sonia Santileses being excoriated by the panel on this critically important issue. I set everything up on a 4th generation iPad, on my Nexus 6P black phone, and my Amazon Fire HD 10. None of them worked. When I first brought everything up at 6:59 p.m. I saw an ad for Traffic Jam Jimmy, the video didn’t even have video of the current vehicle, then we went to a black screen. After waiting for 15 minutes we heard Kai Jackson give a 15 second intro, then 47 minutes later I am still staring at a bump slide of Fox News. Does anyone at this station know how to run their web site and live news feed? I only watch channel 45 to see which on-air “personality” will make the most frequent and most egregious grammatical and pronunciation mistakes. Did you find these people at the Professor Irwin Corey School of Broadcast Journalism? ### 1/5 — Unusable *2017-11-02, version 7.0.9* The news is old, it does not get updated, it’s like reading a newspaper from last week. I’m hoping they fix it soon or I’ll just move onto another news app ### 1/5 — Crashes after commercials *2020-05-31* For their Ad revenue it must work fantastic, but from a standpoint of getting the local news the app is useless. You get a notification of a story, click the notification to get more info, sit through the commercial, then the app crashes and closes. Like a fool you can try again but the process repeats. I am sure they get the credit for the ad revenue though. If and when you are lucky enough to have the app last beyond the commercial, you land on their main headlines page, but good luck finding that story you just got a notification on, because chances are the headlines you see won’t seem related to the notification message at all....... I deleted it to reinstall to see if it improved, which it didn’t, so I have now deleted for good. Stick to their Facebook page. The app notifications always said Weather was live on Facebook anyway when something important was going on. Unless they are live over the air they won’t be live in the app. It used to be much better, but lately the app is just more hassle than it is worth. ### 1/5 — App needs to be updated *2020-05-27, version 7.30.0* Every time you open app in iPhone 11 Max the screen goes black.
