I am appalled that we are forced to watch them on a 3 inch screen. I for one will not vote for any studio film that does not send a proper screener so the film can be watched on a large screen as it was intended. I encourage you to do the same. ### 1/5 — Failure *2023-12-11, version 2023.12* Well, this was not a well thought out delivery. It seems unless one has purchased all the newest hardware this app won’t work with older devices. I tried my three year old Apple XS phone, my iPad Pro 2, and my PowerBook from 2015. All failed to allow the code. My AppleTV generation 3 was too outdated. WB and all the other studios locked out filming for a year and no one now has the money to buy a 4k/8k tv for underneath the Christmas tree. When You click play, you only see a few seconds of the image and then the screen goes black, with sound going... Wish I could give no stars. All that I was able to see was the start of the WB logo sequence before the screen went black. The progress bar kept going forward, but no picture. I tried this multiple times, but had the same problem over and over and gave up. I don't have the patience for software that won't function as it should. ### 1/5 — Only macOS? no streaming to browser, thats poor form. *2021-12-15* This could have been an opportunity for WB to work on generalized platform, instead it chooses to lock itself to closed interfaces. But there’s no option on how to retrieve it. I have tried everything. I give up. ### 1/5 — What a pile of garbage *2024-11-24, version 2024.11* I am suposed to assess visual effects on a tiny screen? It's bad enough in-person screenings aren't conveniently sceduled on large screens. I can't even cast to a decent screen from my pone, laptop or iPad. I am supposed to assess based on a bloody 3" image? I will never vote for a film offered to me in tis manner. I encouage oters to do the same. Did I say GARBAGE? I would rather watch them on my tv. When I try to cast the screener on my tv it just continues to refresh and can’t not download/play a movie or show. Also, I can only cast through my DirectTV stream box and not on my smart TV or Apple TV. This has been so frustrating because I haven’t watched anything and probably won’t be able to vote for the awards this year. What a waste of my dues. So disappointed. ### 1/5 — Hopeless *2024-01-22* Bafta member here given this terrible FYC again This is the only App that does not work in our viewing for evaluation and voting. Just either would not stream, or a black screen with the sound going on. Ridiculous the same year after year. ### 1/5 — Buggy Uploads. *2024-01-22* Hard to watch and properly evaluate movies on this app as the movies streaming on them skip and glitch. I checked and it is not my internet. It glitches at the same moments every time. I’m highly technical and experienced in using web based software and spent two hours trying to screen this at home with my two kids to no avail. Yes this is annoying but in no way does merit one star. This interface is superb and exceptionally easy to navigate. App developers, please extend mirroring capability to other devices. Will there be support for the Amazon Firestick coming? ### 4/5 — Great app despite flaws *2019-01-05* I love the idea of viewing screeners via an app, but like others said, we should be able to cast them to our TVs. I have an Apple TV, so I was able to download the app there and watch, but that restriction shouldn’t be in place. But please continue this idea WB, and improve upon it next year! **Developer response:** Hello Dlakers24! We are working to improve the WBFYC app every day and add features our brothers and sisters in the tv/film business ask for. We will be adding more streaming platforms soon and with the help of Apple we are hoping to allow more Airplay functionality particularly when it comes to player generated visual watermarks.
